VERSE: magus in exile

in which samar solomon discovers treachery during her magical residency. 

after a number of residencies, samar settles into the magical council of certain royal court. although she works alongside peers answers to the archmage, her loyalty is to the royal family: the queen, the crown princess, the prince, and the youngest princess. the fact that said prince is a dear friend from university is both a perk and a complication. 

one day, samar uncovers a series of plots by the archmage designed to manipulate the royal family and plunge the land into conflict. before she can act, the archmage frames her and has her arrested for a series of treasonous crimes. he claims she used her wiles to charm the prince and ingratiate herself into the court with the ultimate goal of stealing power for herself. adamant about her innocence, samar has every intention of standing trial, but her allies have other plans. fearing the likelihood of foul play against his protegée, her benefactor, the patrician of the city of artisans, has her broken out of the dungeon and cast out of the realm for her own protection. 

samar works to magick her way back, weaving words and threads of space-time to return to her homeland. in waking and in dreams, she seeks a way back to save her kingdom and good name.

because i’ve been thinking about it on and off today a small bullet point list about my idea of gabriel in purgatory

being a primordial being as well as a god when he died instead of going wherever other angels might go gabriel went to purgatory instead. it was his pagan side that is the reason he was yanked to purgatory instead of ‘angel afterlife’ or whatever.

he ended up there after he died at lucifer’s hand instead of being resurrected.

he looks like his human vessel instead of his true form but his wings are out and he can’t put them away, six golden feathered wings.

he resisted the pull of castiel pulling the souls, and leviathans, out of purgatory not knowing what it was but not liking it.

basically he survives in purgatory on his own and is the only angel there until dean and cas end up in purgatory.

The village before the massacre. Peaceful times: the villagers were all happy because their region prospered, and they had the protection of Mother Miranda and the four Lords. What else was there to worry about? Thanks to his willingness to cooperate and aid Chris Redfield's unit clean passage, he earned himself fewer strict rules regarding his freedom. The BSAA, however, would hardly trust a bioweapon, let alone leave him running around unattended. Heisenberg remains mostly in custody or under strict watch; his powers and engineering capabilities were often used in aiding them with missions if he felt like it and to earn further trust. But how long will his patience last ... before he tries to escape?

-- This verse can be either combined with + CRYSTALIZED verse ( where he helped defeat Miranda but did not survive it and later popped up revived ) or not, depending on preference. -- If Heisenberg decides to escape his custody and suceeds, this shall lead to a period of REQUIEM where he is on the run and his motives are unknown.

Based on this, Heisenberg's remains dwell with the Duke along with his siblings. But ... what if the Duke knew how to bring back the four Lords?

How much Duke would be willing to trade such valuable treasures? And what could possibly happen if he refused to trade and one day their remains disappeared, or worse, got into the wrong hands? This chapter contains too many question that are yet to be answered ...
