The artist and the cat
All nights warrants
An artist With a blank notebook
Searching for an idea Brain like filled up with ants
To fill the pages with ink into books
Alas gone is the inspiration
Numerous are the cities the nations
That the artist knows
But none enough to make one's eyebrows
Crunch together in emotion
So the artist waits alone seeking imagination
Like one would seek a cat
And try to make it purr
Like the saying goes No hat
Makes a person Blur
And all the words go blur
They wish they could nurture
Their skills and hone them like a sword
But to say it they can't find the word
All nights warrants
The Artist looking for
the perfect hook
But no words nor
Letters can let their wants
Be told from the heart in books

Thunderstorm
Cornfield and purple skies
Thunder shakes the earth
The damp soil and the emerald grass
The scenery looks like a painting
From Van Gogh
And the birds the birds black like coal follow
And fly from the tree tops whose roots are hollow
Whose leaves applaud the roaring tempest
As between the elements a celestial play
That puts the rivers to rest
Would you dance under this thunder, say
In a gown of dead leaves and the breeze of long gone rain ?
The clouds obscuring the midnight sun's rays
Electric bolts here do reign
In a furious blue haze
As far as eyes could see the amethyst skies spread
Like ancient sheets on the floor of the universe
Would you sing under the thunder, say
Beneath the torment from branches of the canopies
Of which soon the wind will ease ?
In the fields poppies, red
All petals in the air that the breeze disperse
from the storm astray

Resilience - poetry book - Like a butterfly (on Wattpad)
Like a butterfly a pendulum's swing Nights follow nights and days pass sometimes throat about to burst and sing But the lyrics don't exactly fit alas
But the time will come that the path will be Not easier but better known you will see The way lit by your own lanterns

The Path
the path is not that much about your start than about the holes you fall on and your small victories and you'd be a fool to consider grandeur without admiring the small
