I need some advice

So I'm about to move back in with my parents. Only problem is I got my vertical lebret pierced when I moved out. ( I'm 18, turning 19 in a few months and I've had this piercing before but my mother didn't like the way it looked so she threatened to kick me out if I didn't take it out) I don't want to have to take it out again because I really do love this piercing and it's part of me. How do I tell my mom that? How do I make her see that she can't control what I do to my body? Yes I want to see them again and I'm in a bad situation and need their help, but no they can't control me, and it's my body and my decisions. So how do I make her see this?
