Okay but Ema's speech? Flawlessly in character.
They made her so much more mature so an impulsive Emma-like reaction would make no sense to happen
Instead we see her speech be rationally driven, where she points out she doesn't care if he's out or not but instead calls out his actions TOWARDS her, like introducing her to his mom, leading her on, making her believe he was interested.
And she ends the speech with the "don't do this to anyone else" line, which implies a cycle behavior which I think resonates with the country's context, as I've heard plenty of people tell me that the "pretend to be straight and date girls instead" is common.
So yeah, can't be mad at Ema in the slightest. Delivery on point and all she did was call out Lovro's actions, more than his sexuality
