Love how Izzys first priority, after any altercation, is to fix his hair.

Except after the duel.

His hair's messy and in his face until he goes to see Spanish Jackie. He fixes his hair before sitting down to talk to her.

So I posit this: the messier Izzy's hair is =the more vulnerable he is.

So if fanfic writers/ fan artists or the shows writers wanted to show Izzy truly losing it or truly being vulnerable, keep his hair messy.

Maybe in s2 he just...stops styling it, at all.
