the homestuck fandom is so interesting because every single character is not a homestuck character, but actually just everyones character. but not in the same way as a public domain char. like, i cannot thing of a single person in hs who hasnt been headcannoned beyond recognition, but even if someone looks NOTHING like their canon sprite its like. "yep! thats still them"

i know this could apply to a lot of fandoms and this may just be my bias but i see it a lot in homestuck and i thinks that like pretty special and stuff
