Slightly irritated rant warning.

So... In the stream today they confirmed (paraphrased) "one of the big reasons Moon had gone aroace is because he didn't have or understand emotions, and didn't want to get into a relationship when he didn't understand emotional connection" and that they Might make him Allo now!???

Anyone else sick of amatonormativity or. First of all, you don't "go aroace" or choose to be. That wording was very poor. Secondly, I doubt it was intentional, but this very much gives the implication that being aroace is just a flaw and bad coping mechanism; after all, if Moon was only aroace because of his bad coping mechanism, and the only other implied aroace character we have (Bloodmoon IMO) is ALSO a heartless villain.... Hmmm. Idk there's nothing inherently wrong with it but this really rubs me the wrong way .

There's more that bothers me about it but I can't pin exactly how to put it into words it just feels really. iffy!! but what do you think chat

Anyway the real tragedy of the timeskip is that the sharky on Kazuki's apron is gone.  I loved that little guy.  He was an integral part of the show, of the family.  The third daddy, if you will.

Somewhere between living in Nakasu and Miri starting high school, Kazuki decided that he didn't need the sharky anymore.  Kurusu Kazuki moved on.
