this is what white people have done, essentially:

i walk into your house. i draw a line on your carpet with my foot. i say "everything past the line is my house now". you say "wtf this is my house?" i say not anymore and i will kill you if you try and take it back. after a couple months of me living in your house, you decide that you are going to go to the kitchen to get food, even though it's on my side. i tell you you're breaking the law and i imprison you. i continue to try and take more of your house. you fight back. i kill your children. i am convinced it is "my house". it is not. it has never been my house.

no human is illegal on stolen land.
