ok okaY, i think that Verys from Game of Thrones has major similarities to Jokaste.
When Jo speaks with Laurent and says, "Damianos has brought me his bed boy all laced up like a virgo intacta," she was speaking in perfect, accentless Veretian...What's her back-story? According to the books she was raised in Aegina, an Akielon province, why did my good sis learn Veretian to that capacity unless she felt it a necessary skill to move up in elite circles like the Akielon court, just as Verys did, moving from the slums of Lys to earning his coveted spot in the Baratheon small council chamber... Jo's willing to do that freak shit like when Verys held captive the sorcerer who cut off his balls, as pictured above. Jokaste got in bed with the the heir to the Akielon throne to secure her position but ended up in a dicey situation, sleeping with his bastard brother a d navigating messy family drama.
