why do you hate abs

Short Answer: Abs are Ugly

Long answer: Abs are an unfair and unrealistic standard of attractiveness that have caused near irreparable damage to me, my loved ones, and society as a whole (specifically to men and those of us growing up as boys) due to how and how often they are depicted in media. They are impossible to get and maintain for a majority of people, and media creators' lack of awareness of these facts (plus their unaddressed fatphobia) have resulted in a weird fucking baseline where having abs is "normal," even for characters who havent worked out a day in their fucking life.

And While people who are attracted to abs (or muscles in general, really) are simply products of their environment, the normalization of them as a kink/fetish causes people are who attracted to them to get away with not doing a lot of introspection, and they end up causing damage in circles of people who are Not into That.

Also Abs are fuckin' ugly and no one actually draws them without making the character dehydrated as fuck or constantly flexing. 🤮

I was looking through all your art and I love the superhero art. Which makes me ask, do you have any plans for drawing any more heroes? Or am I thinking of this all wrong? Because you mentioned before that you’ll only draw what your patreon requests, if I recall correctly. How does that work? Like do you put up polls white a list of characters? I’m just curious to know since I can’t afford to be a patron.

I'm glad you're liking my work~ You'll always see more if you stick around long enough; Superheroes (DC, marvel, and otherwise) are always popular, so those are gonna be requested, nominated, and commissioned one way or another. That said, when i find the moods, I have my own handful of favorite hero characters that I tend to return to. The nature of a lot of the medias gives a lot of freedom for me to play with (and even design) my favorite iterations of characters, leading to some doodles I'd do in my own time for my own enjoyment~ (I will hopefully one day finish drawing my own iterations of teen titans and a spider squad that I will clack together like dolls) As for how things work, They can be broken down as such under the cut

Free Requests: People are allowed to send them in, but those generally won't get drawn unless they REALLY appeal to me and find me in the right mood. That hasn't happened in a while. Don't expect replies when those get sent in, as i just let them sit in my inbox on the off chance i'm fishing for inspiration! Weekly Stream Requests: These are randomly drawn during my streams from a large pool of requests/suggestions filled by people who commission me, donate tips, and become patrons. Basically anything that directly gives me monetary support adds to the pool, though there's no guarantee its drawn at all. All the info about that is in this google doc. There are different ways people can get the requests in, but they all go in the same pool for selection time! Patreon: During the first 2 weeks of month, Patrons can nominate a character+kink situation. I turn those to a list for all patrons to vote (and downvote) with varying weights based on their tiers. The top 3 winners get drawn for that month's patreon fills! Commissions: These are the priciest, big, highest quality ones where people can ask for basically exactly what they want. I'm unfortunately very slow and super backed up on them due to health and other reasons, so while you may be getting exactly what you want, the wait is LONG and i suggest this method only if you're really trying to help me pay my rent. 😅

Hi, so i'm like. devastated and dunno if I'm gonna recover emotionally from this loss. Had myself a couple cries, even crying as I type this, but like, I'll be here, even if the country continues to prove once again that it hates black people, mixed people, women, lgbtq+ and everything else that voting for that decrepit plague of a man and his hateful cult stands for.

But i'll be here, fighting for my right to be here with some hope that we WILL make progress somehow. Cuz at the very least, if they want me gone, i'm damn well gonna make it costs them so much money. And you guys try your best to be here, too. okay?

And no, not specifically. I haven't gotten much work revolving around x-men in general iirc. Most people in my circles have grown up with X-men evolution. :P

The closest i got to drawing another x-men 97 character was (if you squint) when i doodled some Kurt/Nightcrawler using his 97 hair and facial features supplanted on X-men Evolution Kurt that's been sitting in my drive for 3 months.
