She knows it’s instinct -- the fear; it’s not every day that someone stumbles across a headless woman, after all. She is surprised to see someone wandering these streets so late, but to be fair she should have expected it. It’s just so freeing to sit beneath the moonlight in her true form; shadows licking at the base of her neck, nipping at her toes. What a wondrous being, the dullahan. “You can sit if you’d like.”

It had started to rain unexpectedly. The unexpected couldburst meant that he was caught without an umbrella. without an umbrella. With a frown, he moved to duck inside a nearby bookstore when the first drops began to fall. He may have moved quickly, but it wasn’t quite quick enough. By the time he opened the door, his shoulders and hair had been thoroughly dampened. Wet, disgruntled investigator, anyone?
