How am I meant to fall in love with Vaxleth and Perc'ahlia (or is it Vexcy) in S1 of TLOVM when all roads are leading to whatever the fucking tension between Vex and Keyleth is?
I could explain it by saying Vex is insecure because she feels like Vax is replacing her with keyleth as his n°1. BUT:
- Vex scoffing at Keyleth whenever Vaxleth has a cute scene
- "those vines have thorns" the first time was sister warning her brother, THE SECOND TIME though it was giving more of a 'you hurt yourself, it's not her fault'
- Delilah's "I'll see you suffer for what you have taken from me." to Vex and then spearing keyleth in front of her?!?! That was certainly a choice.
- Biyleth blushing and being awkward whenever Vex praises her or encourages her (same as with Vax who gets rejected but that one is supposed to be romantic?)
- the positive reinforcement happening mostly after Keyleth died and rejected Vax like hello??
- vex being generally agressive physically towards Keyleth (sun tree + fire) but also constantly catching her or hanging onto her when in danger
