Let's see what you can deduce about me from my room :) bonus points if you figure out where I am from :))
tenerelupumaribus:
BONUS: You are Lithuanian! I deduced that by the numerous Lithuanian titles of your school textbooks. You have English books, of course, but no one has textbooks on science matters in another language. But you have a good grasp on the English language, since you can read English literature and you have tried to learn Japanese. Most likely because you have travelled in Japan as:
You have a Collins Japanese phrasebook.
You have a small drawing of a pagoda at your wall.
You are the holder of martial arts diplomas. I think the diploma template may indicate Judo, but I can’t be definitive.
The other four diplomas in purple and blue cannot be seen clearly. What are they?
You are right handed, obvious from furniture placement and the mouse of your computer.
You must be under 18 and male becaus you are fond of technological equipment (two computers, a recently bought Epson photograph printer as the box is still opened in the middle of your room, an iPod and probably a kindle or another reading device, it’s not clear).
You are a boy and you may have a sister. The flowery stickers, the dolphin on the glass, the Dalmatian armchair are a girls choice. I assume this room is used by all the members of your family.
You are interested in astronomy, a lot. You have two planets decorating your walls.
The first printed planet is Saturn and you probably printed the photograph from americaspace.com or nasa.com because that is the exact photograph of NASA’s JPL of Saturn taken by Cassini spacecraft. This artist’s concept illustrates how charged water particles flow into the Saturnian atmosphere from the planet’s rings, causing a reduction in atmospheric brightness. The observations were made with the W.M. Keck Observatory on Mauna Kea, Hawaii, with NASA funding. The analysis was led by the University of Leicester, England. Bigger Saturn photo, probablly a painting, would cost a considerabl amount.
Interestingly enough, although you are willing to spend money on computers and books, your chair is worn out and the furniture is basic. I can also see from the windows that the building is a big block of flats. You also have an iron for clothes and some hangers in your room. If you were living with your family, your mother would probably take care of cleaning clothes and such, especially if you are a boy. You may still live with your parents.
Anyway, I am perplexed by the fact that you haven’t got a closet to hang your clothes. But you have hangers. So, I assume this house is bigger, and it is consisted of many rooms. So the uni-temporary lodgment is ruled out, since students do not rent multi-roomed houses alone. So, you are living with your parents, but you are relatively autonomous. Also, you have two shampoo bottles.
Books:
You like photography, hence the pictured of the bird and the snow, and also some of your books (fotografo akis/mintis, vizualioji meno istorija)
You like ships and seafarers, but it was only a passing interest of the old. (laivai ir jurininkai)
You have a small collection of magazines which you don’t read, although that defeats the purpose of collecting them.
You’ve read some standard popular books, Dan Brown, Avatar and so on. Some mystery novels. Also, you seem to enjoy historical dramas too, as well as history as a subject.
You like sciences, especially physics, as you own a physics book of the famous Michio Kaku who is a theoretical physicist. Oh, and architecture. You like architecture.
You have definitely finished school because in your library, at your last shelf dictionaries(tarptautiniu zodziu zodynas, chemistry textbooks (chemija) and encyclopedias can be seen. If you were still at school, these books would have been at the middle shelves, so you can reach for them easier.
You like theatre (Dramos Pasaulis, Othello, Macbeth…)
You are passionate about music, since you have bought and not downloaded the cd’s of your choice. You also have a fascination with Doctor Who, as you own a DVD.
You have a borderline obsession with turtles, as you collect them, regardless of shape, colour and utilitarian purposes.
You own a skate or a bike; probably a bike.
You are a high school student, since you do possess writing material and notebooks, but they are very slim. Also there is a lack of voluminous textbooks, so university is ruled out.
You probably have finished high school and you are currently studying at the university or have finished uni already, because you have a book named “Istorijos Egzamino Gidas” which is a history book for exams at schools. It is read and finished so…
Also, I do not see a bed or a closet or cosmetics or any personal decorations, so I am assuming this is your desk and not your personal bedroom.
You are an avid reader, since you own a multitude of books and a kindle/other brand reading device.
P.S.: What is this black ring besides your door? It’s been driving me crazy!
How did I do! Please let me know!
