Dwayne - RuneScape
A black scorpion with cyan patterns on it, marking it as a soul devourer, apparently a type of corrupted creature.
Dwayne cannot be fought and is only available as a pet.

Red Centipede - Rain World
A huge, extremely aggressive centipede with tough armour plates and heads on both ends. If they grab you with both heads you'll get electrocuted! Scary!
A centipede is a type of dragon I think.
may i request a post for Bug (also known as Capiller) from the kirby series
i find them very silly and charming
Capiller - Kirby Super Star
Little striped caterpillars with big googly eyes. Very cute. Some of the earlier sprites look a lot more hairy than later designs. Apparently in Japanese the word for caterpillar literally means "hairy bug".
They generally act as hazards that hurt Kirby when inhaled, but they aren't actually hostile. They're just poisonous.
Gemstone Crab - Old School RuneScape
A big ol'd crab with crystals growing on it! It doesn't actually die when defeated, it simply burrows away while leaving a bit of its gem-encrusted shell on the ground.
Crab immortality! It does not seem to have a face, so I wonder if it's just hidden or if it is a rock elemental of some kind.
Durant - Pokémon Black and White
This one's a pretty ordinary design. A grey ant with steel bands around its abdomen and thorax, and an armoured head. It's pretty much just an ant with metal armour. And that's all it needs to be to achieve perfection.
Look at it. It's adorable. The head feels more waspy to me, most ants I've seen either have kinda small eyes or a very different head shape (like bull ants), but what are ants if not a group of wingless wasps we gave a separate name to?
It has good speed and physical stats, but horrible special stats and takes 4x damage from fire attacks, a weakness the anteater-like Heatmor takes full advantage of. Regardless, I love this creature and bred a shiny one in Ultra Moon. Bronze ant...
Highland Eruca - Final Fantasy XIV
An eyeless caterpillar creature with a mouth resembling that of a catfish. It has several branching horns on its first two segments, and a pair of straight spikes on its butt.
Apparently they do not metamorphose, but remain caterpillars for their entire lives. Kinda like axolotls and some fireflies.
Devil's Spine Creatures - Dredge
Squat Lobsters! Great beasts! Love 'em! But what if it was faceless and had webbing between its legs, looking vaguely Facehugger-like? The Sable Reacher seeks to answer this question.
Spider Crabs are likewise very cool! Their aberration, the Umbral Puppet retains a more biological look than the Sable Reacher, with a pair of shiny black protrusions and a lot more webbing. Its description states that it "waits for the call of the void". How mysterious!
Weiners - Chameleon Twist
Named so in the manual (in both the English and Japanese versions), these sausage-like insects rise from beneath the ground and chase you down relentlessly.
They look like legless ants, and they live in Ant Land, so perhaps they are meant to be larvae or something? Perhaps they were always just legless sausage ants and I'm reading too much into it.
