Here’s my 30 second tomato/kamatis video! Hahaha, I really had a difficult time making this because I recently sold my camera to buy a new laptop and I didn’t have a tripod so I have to improvise using my sister’s GoPro stick, my phone, and some rubber band. Not to mention the rainy weather!
OJT WEEK #7! aka the saddest week of my internship
We didn’t really had to go to the office this week. Our boss said we could work from home but I was really attached to my co-interns and I couldn’t spend a week without getting to see them. We presented our design solutions this week!
OJT WEEK #6!
We worked on our design solutions the whole week! It was kind of tiring because I had to think of something new that everyone would like. My co-interns and also started shooting for our own video journals!
OJT WEEK #5!
To be honest, at school, we were only required to have 150 hours or 4 weeks of internship. But, being a part of Vgrafiks is one hell of an experience. They taught me so much so I dont think I’ll be stopping soon. Anyway, we were given our last two projects for this internship. It was our own design solutions and our video journal where we would tell our overall experience at Vgrafiks.
OJT WEEK #4!
We went to Escolta this week! I believe that it was the highlight of my internship because we went to different co-working spaces and studios, and I got to spend time with my co-interns outside the office! We also wrote about our visit to Van Gogh Is Bipolar and were given new assignments this week! We need to look for an abstract artist and be inspired with their works and process, and to make a 30-second stop motion video about tomatoes.

OJT WEEK #3!
We started self branding this week! It was fun yet confusing because there were some questions that you thought you knew the answer but when you do answer it, you cant. We also went to Van Gogh Is Bipolar! Its always a fun time when we go there. Everything feels so home-y. This week, we also revised everything that was given to us. From client work to assignments.
OJT WEEK #2!
This week really challenged me! We had a client work that required us to lay out a magazine for MegaWorld Foundation. It was my first time to use InDesign. In school, we didn’t really use this because it was only for the communication arts students so, I think that I struggled a lot compared to my co-interns. But, my boss and co-interns were so nice! They help me until I was familiar with the program and eventually, I completed my part for our client work.
We were also briefed about an app that our boss wanted to make. Its called “Better”. Its an app for co-working spaces! Our boss wanted us to do its user interface and user experience. It was fun brainstorming with them!
OJT WEEK #1!
So, hi! I’m Nat. I’m currently a 3rd year visual design student at Miriam College and this summer, I had my internship at Vgrafiks. Vgrafiks is a branding and design studio at Scout Fernandez, Tomas Morato. I attended their workshop at Miriam College last semester (that’s where I knew them). Thanks to AASoc’s Grafika!
This week was really intense for me. To be honest, I dont know why I applied for their internship program because I am aware that I do lack the skills. So I don’t really know why I applied for them. It was a great decision, though. This summer, I got to meet some of the most creative people that eventually became my friends.
