Action Claus (1989) Lost TV Special
Nicholas McClure is many things, a retired army vet, a part time gadget tinkerer, a willing volunteer as the town’s local mall Santa.
But all of that comes to a halt when a team of specialized robbers break into the mall to perform a robbery. Nicholas is taken as hostage, and make matters worse, several are children too.
With the rebels overpowering the local authorities, it is up to one jolly old man, with help from a few kids to save the day. Except this Santa is delivering more than coal to the folks on his naughty list. You better watch out! Action Claus is coming to town! Tonight, only on RJW-TV!
These are four totally real screenshots from a lost Christmas animated special from 1989, no they're not from an artist who desperately wanted to have something to share for you all on Christmas day. Apparently, audiences didn't jive with the idea of Santa being an action star, so the special aired once. And the unknown animation company went under immediately afterwards due to a sudden bankruptcy, somehow.

Action Claus: "What's your name little boy?
Child: "Uh, Timmy?
Action Claus: "Timmy, Is this the little man who hurt you?"
Action Claus: "What are those guys doing?! It's not July!"
Other Child: "Can't believe my daddy says you're not real"
Action Claus "Ho,ho,ho. Your daddy is an idiot."
Action Claus: "Well gentlemen, you met me, now its time you met my elves!"
