None, I just thought that golden blonde hair would be pretty and suit her!

Same with the hair -- I just thought blue/grey/hazel eyes would be pretty.

Nope, I just decided to make her smol (5′3″).
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
Firstly - I have to remind myself that while Niamh is more “human” than most selkies, she still isn’t human -- she’s fully a fae. So sometimes she struggles with understanding why humans do certain things, and she struggles with human morals, because faeries don’t really operate on a black and white mentality like humans try to, so I have to remind myself of that in certain scenarios where that is an issue.
Secondly - Niamh’s trauma. I try not to ignore it completely (bc obviously it’s not just in her backstory for giggles) and think of ways to show it without overwhelming the other writer. I don’t want to make it the focus of the thread (unless it’s plotted to be for some reason), but I do like to show it sometimes -- Niamh flinching, or feeling a certain way when triggered by something, even if it is fleeting, because that’s how real life trauma works -- you can’t always control when it happens and sometimes it’s just a fleeting feeling of terrible-ness and then it’s gone.
Is he usually the one to ask or the one to be asked in these marriages? :0 Color me curious!
it would usually depend on his intended target! when it came to nobles, he often times initiated it, because the allure of a young and charming pirate was often times rather alluring for those whose lives have been incredibly sheltered, but the noble would be the one to ask. if the target wasn’t noble, he would usually ask because the risk of being rejected by someone like them wasn’t as high. no matter what though, he caused all of them to drown and surprisingly didn’t shoot any of them.

21. Three big no-nos to do or say to your muse. (their ‘berserk button’)
Don’t threaten Ciri. Don’t even joke about threatening Ciri. Don’t say anything that isn’t glowing praise about Ciri unless you’re looking to get on her bad side. This extends to everybody she loves, but her daughter is obviously at the top of that list.
Don’t throw her insecurities in her face. She can take an insult, but avoid touchy subjects or perish. That includes references to her infertility, her childhood, her back, sodden hill & etc.
Don’t touch her choker – moreso the charm on her choker – unless she gives you explicit permission. Without it she feels extremely vulnerable and will lash out.
22. Three interesting little tidbits or facts of your muse.
She chose the name Yennefer for herself after arriving at Aretuza. Her given name is Janeczka, but doesn’t like to be called that anymore.
She’s a very restless sleeper. Tossing and turning all night, usually waking up once or twice, shifting positions every minute or so, chronic blanket thief – basically, she’s a nightmare to share a bed with.
Skellige is actually one of Yen’s favorite places. She doesn’t regret what she did, but it bothers her that she’s so widely hated there now.

“Just c’mon! Hurry up!” She tugs him impatiently, a broad smile on her face. It isn’t long until they reach their destination -- an old abandoned lot littered with shrubs and other debris. She pulls Milos over to one of the bushes and crouches down, pulling him down with her.
Under the edge of the bush is a black cat, with five equally soot colored little kittens snuggled up next to her. “Aren’t they beautiful?” Mari talks quietly, not wanting to disturb them. “I don’t want to just leave them here -- what if they get hurt? Can’t we take them to your house for a little while? The babies are so tiny...”
