why is your dorcas white?

Dorcas has very little description in the books (unless we’ve missed something, which is entirely possible!), so when her faceclaim was chosen, we were mostly choosing someone that we liked, had a good amount of gifs, etc to work with, and who we felt had a good vibe for the character. We’re always happy to hear suggestions for fc changes, though, so if you are interested in the character, please feel free to send them our way!

Admin Zaz here - I know it’s been about a million years since the last prompt, as things have been pretty busy here in the adminny household. However, while I scramble around brainstorming for the next big prompt, please like this post if you want to be paired for a random para!
Each pairing will be accompanied by a random phrase or bit of dialogue that you can either incorporate into the thread or simply use as inspiration! I’ll post the pairings in a few days, just to give everyone a good chance to like it if they want.

I know you guys used to have Aaron Johnson approved for James, would that still be true?

Darren Criss is our preferred James, but it is true that we have had Aaron Johnson as James’ fc before and if you really had your heart set on him, then it’s fine.

what are your mw and how active is the dash? you don't seem to have a lot of characters and i'd be worried about finding middle ground with those already in the game.
Hi there!
Currently our Most Wanted Characters are the rest of the Marauders: James, Remus and Peter, especially since Harry was just born as of the latest prompt! We’d also love to have Amelia Bones, any of the Black sisters’ husbands or more of the Aurors (Kingsley, Frank and Alice). Ultimately though, we always say that you should go for the character you click with the most.
While we are a slow-moving rp in terms of the passage of time within the game, we are pretty active as a whole. We conduct weekly activity checks and do our best to push ourselves and our players to be active and engaged as much as possible.
We know we’re a relatively small group at the moment, but we’re proud of our players’ welcoming attitudes and we try our best to make things as easy as possible for new players to integrate into the game, so they don’t feel too stressed about establishing their character amongst the longer-standing players.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (in the real world, at least)!! And you know what that means: SECRET SANTA! Ho ho ho!
Please like this post if you want to take part! If you have multiple characters, you need only like it once. Secret Santa is not obligatory, merely a fun part of the holiday season. You will have a week to let us know if you wish to participate and then next Sunday (Dec 1st) we will organize who is whose Secret Santa and send out the messages letting you all know.
Secret Santa gifts can be anything, from drawings to character playlists to graphics to drabbles. Send them via submit or simply post them to the dash either the night of December 24th or the morning of the 25th.
