Food pics from our first trip to Walt Disney World last month! So much good food 👌 And this is just a small sampling of what we ate. Here is a short list of some of my favorites from each park:
📍Epcot faves: troll horn, school bread, nudel gratin, quattro formaggi pizza
📍Magic Kingdom faves: grey stuff, Tangled eclair, Mickey cheeseburger, chicken pot pie
📍 Hollywood Studios fave: grapefruit cake
📍 Animal Kingdom faves: ahi tuna nachos, fried wontons
Although Epcot's World Showcase had the best food overall, surprisingly my favorite experience out of the entire trip had to be eating dinner at Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom! To be honest, I had low expectations of the food going in to Be Our Guest because I've heard from multiple sources that their food isn't good, especially for dinner, but I'm so glad we went to check for ourselves! Be Our Guest Restaurant has been on my Walt Disney World bucket list since I found out it existed. It wasn't just the ambiance of the restaurant that makes this my favorite, but the quality of food was excellent. The escargot was deliciously rich without being too heavy, and the French onion soup was so cheesy that you could lift your spoon over your head to watch the cheesy, stretchy goodness. The filet mignon was perfect. (I actually thought it was much better than the filet mignon in Le Cellier in Canada in World Showcase, which is supposedly one of the best restaurants in the entire resort.) The dessert sampler, which included the famous grey stuff in a white chocolate Chip cup, was the perfect ending to the meal.
Moral of the Story: Researching reviews online can be helpful to see what's out there, but always try the food for yourself because you may actually love it!
