True power serves all, not just the person in an authoritative position. I witness many "wanting to feel their own power" when they are learning self esteem, and self worth or when trying to connect with the soul's mission. We often feel self empowerment is the necessary ingredient to feel seen, be heard or feel loved. Power without clarity and positive direction can be dangerous. An elixir for superior/inferior complexes. Often resulting in a victim/perpetrator polarity Power, in the heart of a healthy king is reflected in the people and the land. In the hands of an unhealthy king we find the "Minatour" a ghastly beast that feeds on the bodies of virgin girls and boys. When power is handled irresponsibly and corruption afflicts those in power they key attributes that must accompany power becomes evident... humility. The profound importance of maintaining loyalty towards the higher cause one serves. Power invariably concerns how we treat others and constellates the ideas we espouse and the commitment we make to life. Power, in short is a form of service. If we wish to handle it with decency we need to retain humility, wisdom and a serves of honour to those we serve.
