Btw im really gonna need people to get off vic’s back rn because when you think about all this from her perspective her reaction makes perfect sense!!

Up until now she hasnt seen aaron show a single hint of wanting to be with robert. She doesnt know about the wedding kiss and didnt see how intimiate the breakdown/sex scenes were (because robert’s vague description really didnt do it justice and he just comes off as reading too much into it, similar to what happened after vday 2018).

As far as vic’s concerned, aaron is happily married and the sex was just a meaningless blip that he wants to forget. He’s still moving in with john and has no intention of leaving him. Vic is furious at aaron for giving robert false hope just to break his heart yet again, and is desperate to break this vicious cycle of rejection that is keeping robert miserable. And the only way she can do that is to make him understand that aaron doesnt want him. So he can finally move on. Stop torturing himself with what if’s and focus on building a new, happier life for himself.

She’s only saying it out of love for her brother based on the little information she’s got (and once john’s exposed and aaron is allowed to express Feelings again i have every faith that she’ll go back to being the captain of the robron ship)
