VICE Documentary Transcript + More (December 8, 7:49 AM US Mountain Time)
@dreamcaughtme watched the VICE documentary so we don’t have to.
I will post the screenshots of the (beautifully organized) document she created and sent me last night, but before doing so, allow me to warn you to read at your own discretion. There are a few suicide TW’s and they’re marked as such beforehand, but still be careful.
In addition, before anyone asks, Raylene (dreamcaughtme) is very honest and reliable; quite honestly one of few people I can say I wholeheartedly trust. She didn’t have to watch this documentary, nor write a transcript and summary, but she did so so that everyone could understand what’s going on and the spread of misinformation wouldn’t begin, as well as so that we don’t have to watch the doc and collectively give VICE our money.
Please send her some appreciative messages. 💛

Note: The order of the document should be read left to right. I’ve added page numbers in the upper right corner for chronological order just in case.
Let’s begin.

There, Monbebes. Everything we need to know without all of us giving VICE the large sum of money they’re trying to bait.
Alexis Neiers: Vice interview.
Riz Ahmed on Neo-noir, On-Screen Diversity, and Terrible Scottish Accents [x]
wanted these all in one place for reference because i love this photoshoot so very much
Love is my religion right now. When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad (as Abraham Lincoln said, allegedly). When I’m an asshole, it’s not a good day. When I’m helping people that I don’t know, that’s the quickest way to get me out of a shit mood. I learn that more and more. I’m also learning that I don’t know anything. These thoughts accumulate and become something, and it connects you to this energy source that can act as momentum. I mean, I don’t know anything about this shit. I can only gather what little I know and try to make sense of it. Try and be a better person. Try and better serve the world. It’s all generated by yourself. I feel like you can’t really blame anybody else for the heaven and hell you create for yourself.
