I assure you, if there was, I would say so!
In days of yore, my “this week in writing” posts used to include a list of stories that I considered actively in progress but hadn’t written any words for that week, and the number of stories I had in that category, which meant that I had to declare every week whether I’d given up on writing something. Eventually that stressed me out so much that I stopped making these posts for a while, because I got so anxious about disappointing people and having to do so in a sort of public way, so. I will tell you if I am working on something! If I don’t mention it, I’m not working on it at this time!
