Okay, I just got home and I’m looking at the pics and my mind is restless and in no way will be able to give an actual blow-by-blow of the concert. But nevertheless, let me get this out:
THANK YOU LORD FOR WET LOUIS, WET HARRY, WET NIALL, and WET LIAM!!
It rained, but not too much to drench everyone. But apparently, Louis wanted to take it upon himself to answer my prayers for wet!Direction. THANK YOU, LOUIS. AND THANK YOU LIAM FOR GETTING BACK AT LOUIS AND POURING WATER OVER HIM. AND THANK YOU HARRY FOR POURING WATER ON YOURSELF. THAT WAS REALLY HOT. I don’t think Niall was that drenched?
VENUE:
I was so far from the stage, I don’t think I saw them in person, really. I was dependent on the screens the whole time. Speaking of screens, there were screens for each section, which is cool given that the concert was held on a parking lot. good thing about the screens too was that they were just showing the boys, no fancy animations and what-not, except for DFWYB, One Thing, and another song (Diana, I think?)
CROWD:
As a frequent concert goer, I am proud of the Filipino concert crowd. We never fail to overwhelm our guests and I think the boys can attest to that (you can ask around). We will never be as quiet as the Japan crowd. NEVER. We sing our hearts out to every song, we scream for all the reasons and sometimes no reason at all. We don’t take concerts lightly. What can I say, we’re THE BEST CROWD EVER. ;) We tried to make up for all the shit our gov’t threw at the boys.
Which translated to happy, giddy, bouncy four boys, apparently.
ZAYN AND HIS ABSENCE:
Zayn was never mentioned. No, I don’t remember the boys saying anything about Zayn. I saw an update account claiming the boys confirmed on stage that Zayn will be joining them tomorrow, but no. That didn’t happen. But the crowd definitely missed him. I hear his name from almost everywhere.
The boys took turns taking Zayn’s parts. Mostly Harry and Liam and they did a decent job. Don’t ask me which songs and which parts, please. I was too busy having fun to take down notes. Sorry.
HARRY, LIAM, NIALL, LOUIS (AKA THIS IS ME RAMBLING EVEN MORE):
They did great! They looked happy, even though I know they’re tired. They kept on telling us how much they love the crowd. Louis kept on saying it’s the “hottest day ever,” which is really cute. Niall and Liam were really cute with the dance steps for one of the songs, they played off each other a lot. And so did Louis and Liam.
Not much interaction between Harry and Louis, except for when they called Sally to greet her a happy birthday. Louis also took Zayn’s usual spot for Harry’s last part at WMYB, which put him beside Harry. And I think I saw Niall pushing him closer to H. I THINK, OKAY? I got too excited I didn’t even get a picture of the screen with the two of them standing there. BOO ME.
There was a “Prancing Harry” moment. He was shouting about spreading love and candies while prancing on the catwalk. Cute.
Liam and Harry lied on the stage for a time. I don’t know why, really.
I don’t have much to say about Niall and Liam, sorry. But they are great on stage. AND THEY’RE HOT.
Liam wore a hoodie at the start of the show, which just doesn’t make sense. It’s summer over here. He removed it shortly afterwards. He sang “it’s getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes” to Louis, while doing some sexy dance moves. It was after Louis asked him to describle the Manila show in 3 words. He said “Manila is incredible” and then he said “hot.” And then he started singing. Of course we all shouted “TAKE IT OFF!” HA! IF ONLY HE CAN.
Louis is beautiful. THAT’S A GIVEN, I KNOW. I kept screaming whenever they show him on the screen or whenever I know his solo is up. I properly fangirl-ed over him, it’s embarrassing in the best way possible. I almost cannot believe he’s finally here. In my country. Breathing the same air I am breathing. HE’S BEEN ON MY PHONE LOCK AND HOME SCREEN AND LAPTOP LOCK SCREEN FOR A LONG TIME AND HE’S FINALLY HERE. I HAVE AN EXCUSE TO BE OVERWHELMED.
He was having fun, which I think is really, really great. He was sweaty and bouncy and he kept on making remarks on his mic while the lights are off. SO CUTE. I LOVE HIM, OKAY?
AND WET LOUIS IN MY CONCERT IS A DREAM COME TRUE. AND WET LOUIS IN A WHITE TANK TOP IS JUST WOW. IT’S OVERWHELMING. OKAY?
OKAY.
Speaking of white tank top, his top is so huge that he kept having nip slips! I even got a peek of his 78 tattoo for a while I think. The side of his ribs are so sexy and distracting. WHAT A BABE.
He didn’t change for the encore too. Maybe he already planned on pouring water on Liam? I just wish he did pour water on Harry too. THAT WOULD’VE BEEN TOO MUCH THOUGH, RIGHT? Not just for us, but also for them.
Ugh. This is all over the place and I’m sorry for wasting your time.
But I’ll be watching their concert again with better seats, which I am not sure is a good or bad thing for my ability to observe things and write them down into a proper concert report.
Bottom line though is I had a lot of fun! IT WAS WORTH IT.
