It was a ticking time bomb at this point, and Christos knew he'd already waited too long. It was why he'd been avoiding his brother for the better part of a week, a small part of him hoping this dark figure dangling his secret over his head would just get it over with. Alas, he knew that this needed to be done face to face, that not revealing the information about Angelo's death himself would make everything worse -- if that was even possible.
He gave Vic a quick heads up that he was dropping by once he got off the last subway stop, not bothering to provide an explanation as to why -- it wouldn't matter in the end anyway. The pit in his stomach grew heavier and heavier with each step, heart hammering in his chest, but his expression didn't reflect that -- never did -- even when he'd finally arrived. "We need to talk." Christos started as soon as the door opened, not wanting to waste time with idle small talk or pleasantries that would inevitably be soured.
