He likely has PTSD too. His past, his parents were abusive and would often fight which has obviously traumatized Victor horribly and led him to escapism in the form of watching the TV (.... and later it led him to murdering his parents wow). He's definitely got a whole ass bouquet of mental illnesses, poor guy.
I CAN FIX HIM
OH AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON HOW HIM HAVING A BRAIN PARASITE IS A METAPHOR TO BIPOLAR PERSONALITY DISORDER. So he's visibly depressed and apathetic most of the time, right? All gloomy and moody? Depression it is, perhaps severe depression even . Look at him, he neglects himself: the eyebags, the messy hair, the 'fuck off' outfit. The parasite takes over him and makes him act on pure impulse (similar to a manic episode), and though I have no idea what happens after that I may suspect that he simply becomes even more drained and endures a worse depressive episode. Never-ending loop of suffering. He clearly struggles with mood swings when the parasite takes control as well.
Oh how I love you my poor, mentally ill boyfriend
Just had a thought about Victor, those masks he has in the game sprites (and on his reference sheet) may be a literal metaphor to masking. My autistic Victor headcanon migjt be truthful??? That also explains his detachment from reality and communication problems and general sociophobia and many other brief details I can't quite put into words
Look at him. Look at my autistic boyfriend
