Where: Victory Cafe (581 Markham Street, Toronto) When: Saturday, September 10, 2016 What: Victory Benedict (two poached eggs on peameal bacon and English muffin, sprinkled with shredded mozzarella cheese and paprika. Served with home fries, sausage and fresh fruit garnish) How Much: $10.95 Comments: It's not often that I've been disappointed by eggs bennys but this whole experience was a bit of a let down. The food was lukewarm and English muffin was chewy. I would have preferred the home fries a bit more cooked, and the amount served for that and the fruit seemed a bit sad. It was fine, the eggs and sausages were fine, but I couldn't shake my discomfort at what I was served.
