Afraid of going to Vidcon?

Something I've noticed while lurkin the Vidcon tag is that there are a handful of people who are worried they won't have anyone to talk to or hangout with while at Vidcon. In my honest opinion after having gone to the last two events I think it's kinda diffcult to walk away not having made any friends. What I think is important to remember is that you'll be in a place surrounded by people who are just as excited as you are to see Charlieissocoollike, Wheezywaiter, Hank and John Green, etc. So it's not like you won't find anything relatable to the people around you to start a conversation with. Don't forget that there are pleanty of things to do where you can meet new people, Ball Pit anyone?

(heck his blog would do a short meet up, we could sit around and talk about our favorite youtubers or our favorite cat videos.)

The atmosphere at Vidcon is just filled with excitement and It's the perfect recipe to start a friendship and I encourage everyone to talk to the people you are standing in line with at that time. Turn around and say, "Hi" to that person who could be standing alone waiting in line for Tobuscus. As much as VidCon gives us the chance to meet our favorite YouTubers it also gives us the chance to meet new awesome people! Let's make Vidcon enjoyable for everyone who attends because after all this is our community and our event.

Hey folks I've noticed some of you guys have questions about VidCon this year. So any question you might have about rooms, prices, the color of balls in the ball pit this year, etc. send an email to the folks at [email protected] and they can answer you ASAP.

Hey folks! If you haven't heard the amazing news by now tickets for VidCon 2012 are underway! (YAY!)

HAVE YOU GOTTEN YOUR TICKET YET?

Last year attendees have gotten their hands on some tickets already but don't fear there are still tickets left so stay tuned!

Also on a sidenote, this year there will be a costume contest so start planning something wicked.
