heyya, about Vidcunds Okruee hair that you reblogged. it's relatively easy to change genetic bins in Simpe. with a merged file it will be a little bit tedious but as long as you khow which needs to change to what, it's not hard. just might take a little bit of time. If the red and black are the only ones switched that will make it easier. Basically, you just need to open up the Property Set (GZPS) and look at the "Hairtone (dtString)" line. Find any that are labelled "00000001-0000-0000-0000-000000000000" (which is black) and change them to "00000004-0000-0000-0000-000000000000" (red) then do the same for the ones labelled "004" and siwtch them to "001" That should change their bins to the correct ones. just for the record, blond is 003 and brown is 002. Grey is 005, in case you end up needing them. You're gonna want to make sure you have ALL the ones you need changed, since there's a GZPS for every age.

Luckily it looks like that hair is only available for AM-EM so you should only need to change one or two for each color. (if there's YA files it will be 2)

How to Install the GMDC Blender plugin

You’ll want to download ‘sims2gmdc_[latest version number].zip’.

In Blender, navigate to Edit/Preferences... if needed, click ‘Add-ons’, then ‘Install...’

A file viewer will pop up. Find and select the .zip file precedently downloaded.

You might have to enable it manually once installed:

From there, you should have “Sims 2 GMDC” in File/Import and Export; and a “Sims 2 GMDC Tools Panel” in the Scene Properties tab.

(If you use Blender 2.79, you’ll want to download the original plugin instead of mine.)

I really need to get my templates together to release for others to use.  I’ve also wondered if it would be possible to make a pose box like the decorgal/adele one to use the cellphone as an accessory for storytellers...or just an accessory in glasses and repository to it the deco item.  But that’s out of my CC creating department.

Well, that’s Spooky pack.  Too Halloween to be released in the first quarter of the year.

Sims 4 is just a big cash cow. It’s not worth the money.  Snowy Escape is an overpriced game pack pretending to be an expansion.  Wait for a major sale if you want.  They usually do one in January, but no announcements so far...so maybe next month.

I would have preferred more gothic Victorian, like Penny Dreadful. There’s not as much of it in the game as hippie/boho. If they went full culture with Creole that’d be fine. It feels like as my-jessthetic said above, scooby doo. A comical version, which I like quirkiness in my sims, but I do miss the darker themes of The Sims.

Yeah and Nifty Knitting, Eco Lifestyle, and Laundry Day. The same themes.

It was.  I was able to load doors/windows and click on it there to view it, but for some reason just trying to remove it caused the game to crash.  Weird.

I know right? I need to make the High Tower closet too. I also need to make clothes for them XD
