character in general: Bucky. Bucky. Bucky. BuCK Y . BU UU CKY . bucky barnes is the love of my life. I love him, I love his everything and I think he deserves so much better than he gives himself credit for. how they play them: Sadly enough we haven’t written too much together yet (which hopefully will change soon!) but from what I can see, it’s a bucky like a bucky aka on point. :’)the mun: Claims to be satan but is not bcs i am satan. Other than that, we haven’t talked too much which, again. we. have. to . work on. but from what we’ve talked, you are really fun and nice and someone I’d like to keep on my dash and in my life~!

  JUDGING BY the lulling effect of the record playing a 1960 single of yves montand’s  one would assume that  the hotel room would be occupied by young lovers or a married couple revisiting a relationship, and yet, they would find two grown men  ( both emotionally distant & harboring terrible nightmares they wished to never revisit ). bottle of a considerable aged malbec in one hand, cigarette poised between clenched teeth, the colonel spoke with his head turned to the man on the bed lazily flipping through some magazine they picked up at a market.

all right, all right, all right. time to cry loudly about the littlest hot pocket aka @videniye. i don’t even know where to start with lucis. wonderful writer, flawless friend, sensitive sweetheart, etc!!! i could go on and on and on and on….. but that might be weird, so i won’t. all i can say is that i’m really, really grateful to call lucis my bucky and that i can’t imagine having a better partner? i’m honestly so grateful and lucky and i can only one day hope to reach that level of talent and understanding.

              At least his   OWN   brand of insanity is not   lonely.   That should not be a comforting   t h o u g h t,   but somehow it is.   He does not   t e l l   the others of the man who still remains in his   MIND,   for in some,  sick way,   he does not want rid of him.   The soldier is a   PART   of him now.   And yet,   he is   q u i t e   the distraction.   With a   growl   of frustration,  he tosses the book he has been   t r y i n g   to read against the opposite wall.          ❛     Why do.  You have to keep me from doing. These things?   Normal things.     ❜

              Having Bucky   LIVING   in the tower had been a   terrible   idea.   Not because Tony   h a t e s   him,   (   a few months and he    k n o w s   that Bucky is    not   the man that   KILLED   his mom,   not really    )    but because they get along   AMAZINGLY.   Bucky doesn’t   b l i n k   when Tony’s Extremis cuts out the power or when he spends   t h r e e   days straight in the workshop.   He doesn’t   CARE   that running HELM  means that Tony has agents running in and   OUT   at silly hours of the night.   And that’s the problem   ;    there is no problem at all.   It’s   a l m o s t   too perfect,   and it’s kind of   FREAKING   Tony out.   So when he gets Bucky a dog that is trained to   help   soldiers with PTSD    (    it’s got a little harness that says so   )    it is in the   INTEREST   of being a good friend.   And definitely not.  Anything else.   He   w a n d e r s   into the kitchen with the dog,  where Bucky is lounging on the sofa.   A    WINK   and a nudge from Tony,   and the dog pads across the room and promptly leaps onto Bucky’s lap.            ❛     I really   h o p e   you’re not watching Supernanny again.   Or the Kardashians.     ❜

              It does not   MATTER,   sometimes,  all the   good   that he has done.   Even having   f o u g h t   to pardon the Avengers and creating HELM has done    l i t t l e   to ease the   GUILT   that taunts his soul.   Even Bucky,   with the vibranium arm made from the plans Tony   GAVE   the Wakandans,   has   not   settled the debt between them in his eyes.   Tony   w a n t s   to be a   good   man,   especially with the power of Extremis in his   HANDS,    but he thinks that he might have   FORGOTTEN   how.            ❛     It doesn’t   m a t t e r   what I do.   When people   l o o k   at me they see New York,   and Sokovia and Malibu and the   THINGS   that I did to you.  To Steve.   To the people who were my   FAMILY.   How can I ever   atone   for that?     ❜          

         Tony stumbles on his   w e a k e n e d   legs,   catching himself by   GRASPING   onto Bucky’s arm.   He has been given a   second   chance,  with Extremis,   and it   TERRIFIES   him.
