I HAVE GOOD IDEAS FOR VIDEO GAMES SOMETIMES but of course I have no way of creating them so they just sit in my brain. :/

but yeah just wanted to get down my ideas I've had. Didn't wanna go into  too much detail right now but hey if you're super interested ask me about stuff and I'll elaborate or whatever, might even out some concept art. I've put up stuff for a couple of them before.

Senbazuru

This is a super old idea, from way back when during my weeb phase, could probably still be good if done right I guess?? RPG based on the belief that making 1000 paper cranes would grant you a wish. Player would be on quest to collect 1000 paper cranes and fight evil and stuff.

Deep

Takes place in a research sub slowly descending to the deepest depths of the ocean. Have to keep an eye on stuff like oxygen levels, lights, radar, if any water has gotten into the sub, connection to the surface etc. The deep sea is full of oddities, many of which are dangerous, and the only way to fend them off is with bright flashes, which drains your power and could possibly attract other nasties. Also taking pictures of things because you still have a job to do.

Unnamed bug girl platformer

Comfort is an ant, and also a farmer, but her herd of aphids have gone missing. Go find them. That's it basically. Standard platformer levels with bosses sometimes and a store run by your cute bumblebee girlfriend to sell you upgrades and stuff.

Unnamed one I just came up with

one of those 'you are god' strategy games you know? supervise a group of aliens trying to colonise an uninhabited planet. defend against the local fauna and rival colonisers. keep your dudes happy and healthy n stuff.

YEAAAAAAH. AND YES OMG GITAROO-MAN IS MY FAVORITE VIDEO GAME IN THE WORLD EVERYONE SHOULD TRY IT. DEFINITELY TRY IT, PLEASE TRY IT.

Look at that MAD MAESTRO game in the corner… just look at it. That’s where it BELONGS… poor excuse for a rhythm game. At least you don’t have Wii Music in there.

Ahahaha PIRRIP, I actually forgot to put it into the shot at first I mean.. it's not.. that bad.. LOOK IT'S A RHYTHM GAME ALRIGHT. I never tried Wii Music but I was really interested in it.. as well as that game for Wii that the creator of Parappa made but apparently both were bad so life is horrible and I hate everything.

FUTURE GAMES WATCH LIST

So, I haven't posted anything in a while because I have fallen into the pit that is Borderlands 2 (and may make a post about Borderlands 2's story as a lead up for Tales from the Borderlands, which I'M TOTALLY going to get, but whatevs) but I've just been reminded of all the crazy cool games that I've seen floating around the internet at the moment and figured I should do an article, so that at the very least I'LL remember that they're around.I'll be posting one daily for the next week or so, or until I run, BUT HERE WE GO!

HYPER LIGHT DRIFTER

WHAT IS IT? You like Bastion? You like old Metriod? BOOM. This is both of them together and more. A 2-D Action Adventure RPG, with a focus on dynamic combat. 

WHY YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT-

1. The Gameplay: Just looking at the kickstarter page, the sheer number of way to trick or dispatch your enemies in this game tells me that this going to take a minute to adjust to and a lifetime to master. It has primary attacks, secondary attacks, defense options, companion options and dashes. This game looks Strider-Vania as hell.

2. The Mood: I said it was Bastion meets Metroid, right? Both games are about lost souls traveling through unfamiliar lands. The color palette, the walkcycles, the character designs all reflect those beautifully. But where in Bastion there was majesty and Metriod had terror, this game has both and neither at the same time. All of art and scenery is complimented by the music. What I've heard of it fills me with the wonder and dread that only a proper post-apocalypse sci-fi world can instill in me.

3. The Art: I'm not going to say anything but LOOK AT THIS
