⸺ Yuri Plisetsky
The last time seeing each other
𝆹𝅥 Neutral drabble (The relasionship between the characters and i reader can be taken as romantic or platonic)
𝆹𝅥 Yuri Plisetsky (YURI!! ON ICE)
As an ice-skater Yuri has a really busy life, he is always busy with his training and having to travel throught countries has become pretty common, after all he has been going to diferent competitions, he is constantly moving and that is why meeting you has been more like a coincidence
You happened to live in the country he was staying for his competition, you happened to be near his temporary rutine, you happened to be kind enough to greet him and give him a smile, making the little conversations you two have slowly became also part of that rutine. Yuri didn't realiced how or when it happened but you became part of his rutine, he always stopped by to at least wish you a good day or good night, he became to share with you his complains since you were so willing to hear and to laugh with him, you have become important for him and yet that didn't erease the fact that you were only a moment on his life, that once the competition ends, no matter the result, he will have to go back home, that he will go away and won't share this chats again he won't pretend that he wasn't looking forward to see you again, that it is more likely that you two won't see each other again
I have recently started watching YOI and now all I can think about is Yuri Plisetsky lol!
I was wondering if you could write a jealous Yuri x fem reader oneshot where she isn’t a skater but she volunteers around the rink helping other skaters with anything they need; giving a lot of her attention to others. How would Yuri handle his s/o not giving him her full attention.
Ik this is silly but I read your SFW headcanons for him and the jealous part had me thinking I need to read this in action lol 😂
Jealousy
Yuri Plisetsky x fem reader.
The rink was always cold, even in midsummer. Most volunteers wore thick gloves and scarves tucked under their jackets, but not Y/N. She moved around with that same easy warmth that kept everyone lighthearted and smiling, even when the edges of the ice nipped at their fingers. To Yuri Plisetsky, she was both the calm at the center of the chaos and the cause of his own.
She wasn’t a skater like the rest of them, not officially anyway. But she was always there. Taping laces, delivering coffee to Yakov when he forgot his thermos, and handing out tissues to wide‑eyed kids after a fall. Y/N almost glowed under the fluorescent lights. She seemed to belong to everyone.
And that was exactly what drove Yuri insane.
He wanted her attention- no, he needed it. But Y/N was too busy helping others to see that.
It started small. At first, Yuri only scowled when she leaned down to help one of the younger skaters, offering encouragement in that soft voice that made even Yakov’s temper cool mid‑yell. She wasn't doing anything wrong, he told himself. Just volunteering. Just being kind.
But when one of the senior skaters, a tall Japanese competitor visiting from out of town, laughed at something she said, and she laughed back, Yuri’s chest burned.
He landed his next jump harder than intended, the shock rattling through his knees.
“Careful, Yura,” Victor’s teasing voice echoed from rinkside. “You’re jumping like you’ve got something to prove.”
“I always have something to prove!” Yuri shouted back, but his glare wasn’t for Victor. It was for the other boy still talking to Y/N near the boards.
When practice ended, Yuri caught sight of Y/N tucking her clipboard under her arm. Her cheeks glowed pink from the cold, and a strand of hair stuck to her lip gloss. It should’ve been infuriating that someone could look like that unintentionally.
Still wearing his skates, he glided toward her. "Why are you always wasting time with them?" The words cut sharper than he intended.
Y/N blinked. "Them? You mean the skaters?"
"Obviously. You’re running around taking care of everyone like you’re their mom or something." His arms were crossed, his brows furrowed, but underneath the attitude was a plea: Look at me instead.
She smiled faintly. "That’s kind of my job, Yuri. I’m here to help."
"Well, maybe stop helping everyone so much."
"Uh‑huh," she replied, amused rather than offended, before turning back to hand Yakov his whistle. The dismissal stung.
Yuri rolled his eyes dramatically and stormed off to the locker room, muttering under his breath.
Days passed, and it only got worse. Y/N helped tie a little girl’s skates. Yuri’s eye twitched. She crouched down to fix a broken lace for a junior competitor, who kicked the boards a little too hard. Otabek even called him out on it during warm‑up.
"Jealousy looks weird on you," Otabek said flatly.
"I’m not jealous," Yuri snapped, jerking at the zipper of his jacket. "Why would I be jealous of her giving attention to a bunch of amateurs?"
Otabek raised an eyebrow. "Because it’s not you?"
Yuri glared daggers but didn’t answer. His silence said enough.
That evening, the rink staff stayed late to prepare for an event. Y/N stayed too, naturally. She stacked boxes, carried banners, and checked off names on a volunteer list. Yuri wasn’t supposed to be there; he’d finished training hours earlier, but he found a reason to “forget” something in the locker room.
When he walked back onto the ice, she was alone, sweeping shavings near the edge. The fluorescent lights painted silver streaks in her hair.
Yuri leaned against the barrier, watching.
"You work too much," he finally said.
Y/N looked up, surprised. "And you train too much."
He scoffed, crossing one skate over the other. "That’s different. I’m the best at what I do."
She smirked. "Sounds like you’re still competing for attention, even off the ice."
He froze. The jab landed more accurately than any jump ever did.
She looked back at him, eyes curious but kind. "Why does it bother you so much when I talk to other people?"
"It doesn’t," he said automatically and instantly hated how his voice cracked. She laughed softly.
"It really does," she teased.
For once, Yuri didn’t have a comeback. He skated a circle around her instead, gliding backward until he stopped just beside her broom. "You should take a break. Eat something with me. Pirozhki, maybe."
"Are you asking me out, Plisetsky?"
The tips of his ears went pink. "I’m… suggesting you eat. So you don’t, like, faint or something stupid."
"How thoughtful," she grinned. "Alright, deal."
From that night, Yuri found excuses to linger whenever Y/N was around. She’d be organizing tournament rosters somehow. Yuri “needed” to confirm his skate order. She’d be speaking with officials, and he’d “accidentally” walk into the meeting room looking for his coach. Each time, he ended up near her, soaking up just a fraction of that attention he’d been missing.
And each time, the jealousy simmered just beneath the surface.
One morning, she was kneeling to refit a boy’s skates while Yuri was rehearsing a new routine. He finished a flawless triple axel, looked toward the boards for approval—and found her laughing at someone else’s joke. The smile that should have been for him was directed miles away.
The moment splintered in his chest like he’d fallen on the ice himself.
He skated off mid‑routine, ignoring Yakov’s shouting. Without another word, he ripped off his gloves and threw them against the wall. Otabek caught him before he stormed out.
"Hey," Otabek said, calm as always, "you need to breathe."
"I don’t need anything," Yuri snarled, but his voice broke again.
"Y/N doesn’t belong to anyone, Yura. That’s kind of what you like about her, isn’t it?"
"Shut up."
But Otabek wasn’t wrong. That independence, that relentless kindness, drew him in even as it wrecked him.
Later, Y/N found him sitting on the cold concrete steps outside the rink, laces untied, jacket half‑zipped. Snowflakes collected in his hair like glitter.
"There you are," she said softly, stepping closer. "You vanished."
He didn’t look at her. "Why do you care? You were busy being everyone’s hero again."
Her brow furrowed. "You think I don’t notice you, Yuri?"
He snapped his gaze up, then feline eyes sharp despite the red rimming them. "You don’t. You’re too busy running around playing nurse to every idiot who slips."
Y/N crossed her arms, her voice gentle but firm. "You know, helping people doesn’t mean I care about you any less, right?"
His mouth opened, closed. "Then… prove it."
"How?" she asked, tilting her head.
"Stay. Just for a bit." The words came out small, stripped of his usual arrogance.
She sat beside him. The silence hung heavy but comfortable. Out here, in the quiet, he didn’t need to perform.
Y/N leaned her shoulder lightly against his. "You’re not as tough as you pretend to be."
Yuri huffed. "Don’t tell anyone. I’ve got a reputation to maintain."
"You mean as the ‘Russian Punk’?"
"Exactly."
The faintest smile twitched at his lips.
Over the next few weeks, their rhythm changed. Y/N still helped everyone, but Yuri began to see it differently, not as hers being taken from him, but as something shared. Every time she looked up from her clipboard and smiled at him specifically, even briefly, it steadied the storm that used to build in his chest.
Still, jealousy doesn’t die easily.
At the next exhibition, a famous European skater publicly thanked Y/N, handing her flowers after his performance. She laughed, flustered, cheeks flushed pink. The camera flashes caught everything. Yuri gritted his teeth so hard that Otabek whispered, "Don’t break a molar, man."
When Y/N came back to their section, they froze at the sight of Yuri’s expression. "You saw that, huh?"
He didn’t answer. Just snatched the bouquet from her hands and muttered, "Those roses are ugly anyway."
"Jealous much?" she teased—but there was warmth in her voice.
"Why would I be jealous? He couldn’t land a clean quad if his life depended on it."
"He still managed to give me flowers."
That did it—his head jerked toward hers, eyes blazing. Before he could stop himself, he said, "Then I’ll give you something better."
Her lips parted. "And what would that be?"
He didn’t answer out loud. Instead, he reached into his hoodie pocket and pulled out a small silver charm in the shape of a cat, the kind sold in Russian boutiques. "It’s stupid. But it reminded me of you. Always running around taking care of people, like some kind of stray mom cat."
Y/N blinked down at it, touched. "Yura…"
"Don’t say it’s cute. It’s not cute. It’s practical. For… good luck or whatever."
"Still," she murmured, clipping it to her badge lanyard. "Now I’ll have your attention everywhere I go."
He swallowed hard. For once, words failed him.
By spring, the rink thawed a little, both outside and in. Y/N remained busy—organizing juniors, patching broken gloves, but every night she and Yuri shared small moments that only they knew. Sitting shoulder to shoulder on the empty bleachers. Drinking hot chocolate from a vending machine. Watching their reflections glide on the freshly polished ice.
Yuri still got jealous, of course. He’d glare when someone hugged her too long or thanked her with too much enthusiasm. But now he understood why. He didn’t just want her attention; he wanted her pride. The way she looked at people made her believe he wanted that look, too.
One evening, while the rink echoed with the thump of distant music, Yuri finished his routine and skated to the barrier where Y/N waited, clipboard in hand. She clapped, eyes shining.
"Perfect landing!" she called.
He smirked. "Obviously. I had the best motivation."
She tilted her head, teasing. "Oh? Who’s that?"
"You," he said simply.
Y/N laughed softly. "Careful, Yura. Someone might think you like me."
"Maybe I do," he shot back, blunt as ever. Then, softer: "Actually, I do."
For once, she didn’t make a joke. She just looked at him, her expression somewhere between surprise and something warmer.
"I was starting to wonder if you’d ever say it."
He blinked. "You… knew?"
"Of course." She smiled, tucking her hair behind her ear. "I just wanted you to figure it out for yourself first. You’ve got enough fire in you for the entire rink. I didn’t want to stoke it too soon."
He snorted but couldn’t hide his grin. Climbing over the barrier, he stopped just in front of her, close enough to see the reflection of the rink lights in her eyes.
"Then don’t give anyone else that smile anymore," he said, voice low but serious.
"I can’t promise that," she teased, resting her palm briefly against his jacket. "But I’ll make sure the one I save for you is a little different."
"Good," he muttered, cheeks pink. "Because I hate sharing."
"I know," she whispered. "You’re terrible at it."
For a heartbeat, everything went quiet—the ice, the world, even Yuri’s restless thoughts. There was only the sound of his pulse and her laughter echoing like music through the empty arena.
When she turned to leave, Yuri caught her hand.
"Hey, Y/N."
She looked back. "Yeah?"
"Don’t forget your lucky charm."
Her smile was soft now, almost tender. "I couldn’t, even if I tried."
By the time the next season began, everyone at the rink had noticed a change in him. Yuri still yelled, still strutted, still called every competitor an idiot some things never changed, but he trained harder, smiled more often, and occasionally looked up toward the bleachers mid‑routine as if making sure one particular person hadn’t disappeared.
Y/N was always there, clipboard in hand, watching. Always helping, always glowing. But when Yuri finished a perfect jump or landed a clean spin, he got her full attention, and that was enough to melt all the leftover jealousy in the world.
For the first time in a long time, the Russian Fairy didn’t just skate to win. He skated so Y/N would watch only him.
Could I humbly request the SFW alphabet prompts for Yuri Plisetsky? I'm starving for more fluffy writing for him 😭💕
Yuri on Ice SFW Alphabet: Yuri Plisetsky.
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Yuri is not naturally affectionate, at least not in obvious ways. His fierce independence, drive to be the best, and "Russian Punk" persona make him seem standoffish and prickly on the outside. However, beneath that tough exterior is a softer side that emerges around those few he truly cares for, like his grandpa. With you, Yuri's affection would manifest in subtle gestures more than grandiose displays. He'd make sure you're eating properly and getting enough rest, growling reminders at you because he can't admit he's concerned. During cold Russian winters, he'd gruffly toss you his jacket or scarf, mumbling that he doesn't want you catching a cold. When you accomplish something, he'd flash one of his rare genuine smiles and say "not bad" - high praise from Yuri. He'd get extremely defensive if anyone spoke a word against you. And when you're alone together, Yuri would pull you close, rest his head on your shoulder, and let his guard down, showing vulnerability he dares not show the world. Yuri's affection is hard-won, but unshakably loyal once earned.
Just imagine Yuri Plisetsky coming back home from a really long compilation, and just making a straight b line to your shared room (your staying at a hotel close by BTW). You laying on the bed doing your own thing and you just feel him lay right on top of you. Aahhhhhh that would be soooooo cute!!!!!!
Also hii this is my first ever post so I hope the Yuri on ice simpers find this! ^^!
Yurio as your partner
He loves to get you cat things to remind you of him
Loves it when you play with his hair
Would like to share clothes with you, if you are bigger than him (even slightly) he'll go out and buy something he'd wear but a size or two bigger than your size (he's possessive and wants to see you in his clothes but if he can't he'll want to see you in something he'd wear)
He likes taking walks with you, it's peaceful
He loves spoiling you
When you cheer for him he's over the moon
He saves you a seat at every performance
If you play sport he'll come to every competition if he can and if you dance he'll make a hell of an effort to get there and watch you perform
Clingy as hell when he's tired or upset
If you ice skate he'll want to practice with you
When you get hurt he's just like 'is there blood? Yes? Hospital!' (he doesn't really know how to take care of himself when he's hurt so he doesn't know how to take care of you when you're hurt but he tries his best)
He likes sleeping in the same bed as you
Dates most Saturdays
Omega! Yuri HC
Omega Yuri is just as much of a brat as usual, but with a bit more “how could anyone love me aside from my family”. He knows he’s a little shit, even as an adult, and while he stands by being himself he does have doubts from the whispers that he’s too much of a hassle.
Your job is to prove him wrong. And you do it so easily because you understand what he really means when he gives you his usual snark in public.
When you first met he was so thrown off by how good you smelled that he distanced himself immediately. That shocked you and you thought you smelled awful to him, even doing a quick smell check and apologizing. He quickly corrected that misunderstanding, but only to the point where he lied and said you just startled him instead of telling the truth that your scent was super appealing. He wears a scent patch though so you can’t exactly praise his own scent yet.
At the start of the relationship he’s hyped beyond imagination and his heart sings every time you hold his hand. Little kisses to the usual scent spots fluster him, but he would never tell you to stop. All he asks is that those moments are kept in private.
When he leaves your side for competition he insists on you scenting all his pajamas. He wears his patch religiously and his outdoor clothes aren’t scented by you because he knows it’ll just make him miss you when he doesn’t have the time for it. His night clothes are free game though and that’s when he allows himself to miss you and to call home.
Sub Yuri P
He’s 18+ here.
How could he not be a brat? Of course he’s a brat but he’s very easy to work with. His attitude stays up until you get his back on the mattress, or wall, or floor. Depends on your mood.
Starts off with moans and groans but when you get him worked up or if he’s close then he is whining desperately.
Doesn’t have a problem wearing lingerie unless you intentionally try to embarrass him with mean words. He likes how he looks in pretty lingerie.
Very unsure if you bring up pegging. You’d have to gently introduce him to the idea otherwise you’ll scare him off.
He likes the feeling just fine and doesn’t mind it but prefers when you do other things.
Hates risky places and hates how much it turns him on. You can tease him in these places but it’s best to find a safe spot when you actually do the deed.
