I get that a lot of kids, especially autistic or Asperger’s kids, identify more with being a “program” or a “robot” than a person like their peers. This could be due to stigma or just internal recognition that most people don’t think like they do.

However, making this a gender is intrinsically harmful, IMO. Instead of a harmless identification with a concept, a light association, it becomes something that people base their entire identities around to the point of making it their gender. It’s not an issue in itself, however, but rather a symptom of a wider problem.

And it’s pushing people deeper into it I’m a vicious circle.

If you’re reading this and ID as videogender or similar: I’ll tell you a secret. Everybody’s brains are just really, really advanced biological computers. Yes, yours too, but you’re not ‘other’ or ‘robotic’- you’re different. We’re all computers, just some have different specs and handle different things better and worse.
