Vidicom Receives Prestigious Bronze Anvil Award
Vidicom’s innovative InteracTV platform has earned the company recognition from one of the most respected groups in the public relations industry, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The PRSA honored Vidicom with its esteemed 2012 Bronze Anvil Award, given annually for the planning and execution of a specific tactic within a broader media campaign. The company received the Bronze Anvil in recognition of its InteracTV campaign for a major brand. The campaign connected brand spokespersons in a direct conversation with fans through streaming video. Experts fielded live questions about the brand from fans on Facebook, resulting in 1,400 new “likes,” 7 million impressions, and a remarkable 46% increase in traffic to the brand’s page. The Bronze Anvil has represented the gold standard in public relations since it was first awarded in 1969. Our receipt of the award only further highlights the exceptional promise of InteracTV to revolutionize consumer brand engagement through creative technology and expert implementation.
Vidicom’s Citybuzz Reaches Millions of Viewers per Month
If you have ever been a passenger in a New York City taxi, you might already be familiar with Vidicom’s innovative Citybuzz program. The country’s leading network for destination travel, Citybuzz exposes millions of consumers to brands and businesses through 15- and 30-second segments about products, trends, and destinations. Hosted by industry experts, these short segments are grouped into a 30-minute program that plays in a continuous loop. Citybuzz is featured on monitors in taxis in New York City and other important markets like Dallas, Miami, and Los Angeles, enabling brands to reach enormous—and captive—audiences. But Citybuzz’s reach is not limited to cabs alone. The network is also featured in hotels in more than 20 markets across the country, playing in nearly 400,000 individual rooms. The cumulative reach of Citybuzz is remarkable. Each month, 7.4 million viewers see the program, offering brands an exceptional opportunity to interact directly with a large consumer audience in major markets across the country.
