So at the lovely @merrybandofmurderers request I have now made my merry band in bg3! I'm not gonna play them straight away (I'm going to Loretta's playthrough goddamn it lol) Idk if I'm completely happy with them yet, probably gonna look into some more mods but look at my babies I do love them 😁

From left to right (top to bottom) we have:

Declan Aeducan (my boy likes showing off his assets)

Amos Brosca (who is very done with Declan's shit)

Eden Amell (looking flirty and fabulous)

Adelene Surana (looking very much annoyed)

Assana Mahariel (being her calm and sensible self)

Huge thank you to @anarrowthroughtimesideblog for these absolutely stunning commissions she did of my Merry Band Of Wardens. There are not enough words to express my love for each of these. They are cute af and you have captured their vibes so well. The details, the colours and the shading just blows my mind.

Alistair: "Joining the Wardens is an honor, not a punishment!"

Declan Aeducan, who is deeply regretting his decision to join and realised he could have just made his own way on the surface:

"Are those your words, or someone else's?"

Amos Brosca, noticing how only the desperate are being recruited:

"I thought so too, at first, but on reflection it's clear we were recruited because we are disposable."

Connor Cousland, who was coerced into joining the wardens under the threat of leaving his mother to die:

*completely speechless, there are no words*

Adelene Surana, irritated by the stupidity of such a claim given the experiences of the others and that Aeonar was beginning to look appealing in comparison:

"I mean this with all possible offence, are you stupid?"

Eden Amell, finding the whole conversation ridiculous as joining the wardens was her literal punishment for breaking circle rules:

"Yes, Sir. A complete and total honour, Sir."

Viera Tabris, who is an unproven and unskilled fighter yet was just accepted because Duncan needed wardens:

"I think your making a bigger deal about all this than it really is."

Assana Mahariel, slowly dying from the blight as they speak and who's only hope of survival is the joining:

"Shem, this is the worse punishment imaginable. I may deserve it for abandoning Tamlen, but if I had any choice in the matter I would be home with my Clan."

I got tagged by the lovely @blueheaded to do this picrew ages ago, but I just couldn’t find the right vibe for any of my main OCs, then I got this idea to do the Merry Band of Wardens and you know what, it just worked.

Have you ever picked up a habit from developing/writing one of your own characters? And if so, who and what?

I like to read my fic out loud when I'm doing edits and I always end doing the gestures I imagine the characters doing lol It's been notoriously bad for Declan and Eden lol A hair flick, an eye roll, an eyebrow quirk, etc. Worse still they tend to linger for a while after and I accidentally respond to people how I envisioned the character would.

Do you have any voice claims for your OCs?

Actually, yes. It was really hard trying to find some youtube clips that weren't too long or where discussions between characters, but here they are. Just click a name and hear the voice :)

Some of these I had clear ideas about when I went into it, Luke Arnold's John Silver has always been the voice I imagined for Declan, and Frankie Adams was always Assana in my mind. The others came along after as I wrote them and started to form an idea about their voices.

In summary: Luke Arnold's John Silver is Declan, Zach McGowan's Vane is Amos, Frankie Adams is Assana Mahariel, Sophie Turner is Viera Tabris, Emily Blunt is Adelene, Hannah Murray is Eden Amell, and Regé Jean-Page is Connor.
