Oooh ok this is a good one. I have a bit of a more complex opinion on Grace just in general, but I'm gonna focus on specifically the asexuality - I love the idea of Grace being asexual! I think it would be so awesome for that to be confirmed in some way in the next book!! I can't actually remember if this was something I noticed being hinted at in the book, or if it was only when I came on Tumblr that I saw it being headcanoned in the fandom, but either way I'm attached to it now lol.

One thing tho, I hope in general that Cassie will like, idk just do her ace representation a bit differently. I absolutely love Raphael, literally I love him sm and I'm really glad he was made canonically aroace, butttttt I'm also sick of aro and/or ace characters constantly being portrayed as absolutely emotionless people who don't feel love for anyone at all, even in a platonic or familial way, like can we please have some ace characters who are just nice guys hanging out with their girlfriend or their best friend or taking their friends out to get milkshakes or something?? Like NOT ALL AROACE PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY EMOTIONLESS AND DEVOID OF LOVE, and ummmm yeah with Grace being a character often seen as "emotionless" I hope that we will get to see her as slightly more emotional and 'human' in ChoT, especially if she's gonna be ace cause I think it would be a better portrayal, and also I hope that her asexuality is not gonna be blamed on her childhood trauma because no

In conclusion: Grace being asexual is a solid 9/10 for me, with one point deducted because I reserve me judgement to see how/if Cassie would handle it in ChoT
