Tiến Bromance
This series was my EVERYTHING when it aired, but it really felt like I was the only person watching it. Maybe it is because it’s a Vietnamese series, and not many watch VietBL. Such a shame.
Tiến Bromance is basically everything and more. It’s a meld of so many genres (horror, drama, mystery, zombie), in a way that should be messy, and yet it is able to keep it consistent and engaging throughout the entire series.
The visual style is so unique and genuinely the cinematography is one of the best in BLs from that era. The series utilized a lot of really interesting editing techniques!!!
Story wise and chemistry? Also holds up!! I was sooooo invested in the leads romance, especially with the found family aspect the series had going for it.
I just think it’s such a shame that this series was so overlooked. I think it holds up till this day, and is a much watch for fans who like their dramas to be extra DRAMATIC!!
