Sometimes I'll be going about my day normally and then just randomly remember that Tien bromance is an actual series that exists and not just an unhinged feverish dream I had in 2020 and I feel like my brain is going to fucking melt 😭
Vietnam just knows how to domesticity, okay? And what a sweet episode with a few very worrying moments for Nghia and his now certain heart condition. My love is mine was such a good line because so much of their issues were because of Thien's insecurities and the way they both reacted to their love being seen and having them reclaim their love for each other was darling. I just love this kind of sweet episode.
Oh, and Nghia's mom is definitely either dead or dying and I'm a bit worried because I believe next week in the final episode...
Vietnam continues to rule the domestic side of BL with these two young men, their home and their love. They're just so sweet and loving and taking care of each other and flirting and I adore them on so many levels.
Can you believe the year that just passed in BL?
When we went from seaweed snacks to masarati, from gay for him to marriage equality, from banal university to absolutely everywhere, from bubbles of acceptance to queerness, from singing to waltzing.
We've had gay arranged marriages and arranged marriage broken on account of gay, star crossed lovers get their happy ending and sweet boys discovering true love, messy boys that ache and consent at every turn, cheating messes and near-poly, reincarnated pets and hemp ropes that we build, beloved boys and needed boys and hurting boys and healing boys.
This year has been a year of BL everywhere and countries making more BL and BL growing and changing and becoming so much more and I am so, so happy to have shared this year with all of you.
Thank you for your asks and your comments and your debates and your gifs and your explanations and your agreements and your tags and your chats and every moment that reminded me that people are truly wonderful and that loving something, being passionate about something, matters no matter what that thing might be.
The kiss. The way Nghia smiles after the kiss. They're so bright and so darling and I love them so much. Please give me the sweetest, softest ending to this show.
They're so cute. Both couples are so cute. I love this show. Dang and Son are adorable with the fountain pen gift and I love how Vi is taking care of his boy and slowly breaking down those walls. Adorable.
