I mean, they're really going hard with this when we know we're watching a QL and that this is Ba Vinh who has made a career of kissing a whole variety of boys as a whole variety of characters. Deeply amused. @absolutebl I do love the translations of obvious idioms, though.
(But, like, this show is not giving me the chemistry I want. I know it's there, I've seen it, I know it but it's just not working, the two characters are just unlikeable together so far. Which is frustrating!)
I want these men to be so cute together! I really do! They have good snark together so far. But the show just isn't giving me the more I need to make sense of them.
And the end of the episode finally delivered what I wanted and knew they could!

Today in Vietnamese BL referencing Thai BL, we have two girls who hated each other bonding over being bl fangirls. Maybe they’re just going to be the shipper friends, but with Thu Ha directing there is a chance this will turn romantic and it would be very fun if so.
Nhung is right here and I can assure you she is "suitable enough". Just give it a try Ngọc Anh, you won't be disappointed!

She succeeded in making Nhung being lost at words.
I knew their happy dating era wouldn't last for long because obviously we have to be afraid of Dũng's brother learning about them being together...
I guess he will try everything to make our couple break up. I'm already dreading the next episode. Why Trung has any say about his little brother's romantic life? Shouldn't he care about himself? Just because he decided to stay single and to help his brother study abroad doesn't mean he has the right to decide what Dũng should do.
Are we finally talking about feelings?! Is it finally happening?!
Is it Dũng first real relationship? Sometimes, he strikes me at someone who never really experience being in love before. That's why it's so complicated for him to say to Việt that he loves him. Let's also add that he has been hiding his sexuality to everyone, so it must not have helped.
In a way, I feel Việt understands better why Dũng is acting this way. That's why he tells him that they can take their time to truly understands what's going on between them.
When you let Dũng finally talks about feelings, he can be quite eloquent.
Apparently, he dares doing it! It seems like they only needed a small nudge to finally talk about their mutual attraction and to act upon it.
