Defending Jacob is out...
And in doing my lurker/reader thing, I’ve already seen some complaints being made in other places.
Not everyone is able to watch right now where they are. Not everyone who can watch has been able to see the first three episodes yet. (I’ve seen one) Some people know how the story might go because they read the book. But let’s be honest. Even if you read the book, I did, we have no idea what they’re going to do in the show.
But we can be polite, right?
For my part, if something looks spoilery and I happen to reblog it, I’ll make an effort to tag it with #DefendingJacobSpoilers
If I screw up, I apologize. If you want to let me know in the comments or DM me about such if I do, cool. If you send me an anonymous ask saying “welcome to my block list, asshole” like someone did for Knives Out because I didn’t use the right tag for you, I’m going to take it under advisement and move on, upset-free, with my day. No offense intended.
It costs nothing to be polite.
So I’m hoping those of us with access to the show can keep what happens under our hats. I’m hoping those who are viewing the content who can’t see the show for whatever reason, will understand that they have some ownership in what they stumble across. I don’t think anyone willingly wants to ruin the ride for anyone else.
