Caring for your Pokemon: Infernape Line
Our second starter that we will be going over, the king of the monkey pokemon himself, Infernape (and the pre evolutions). Being the fastest fighting type starter of it's group, it has a ton of energy and often needs to burn it fast (pun intended). Chimchar will often be bouncing around and getting into fights that it should not be getting into, but with discipline and training, a Chimchar can focus it's energies on it's fights and become powerful. As for Monferno, with a tail it incorporates it's attacks using it, so make sure that their tail is strong and burns bright. While they are not carrying a tool of any sort, they do know how to use tools and can use them in battles if need be. Sticks and rocks are it's preferred weapon of choice, but with training it can learn a variety of object use, including items such as Sirfetch'd's leek sword, or Gurdurr's steel beam. Now Infernape, is able to use all of it's limbs and become an absolute menace in combat. They prefer to go all out instead of going with a status strategy. Making sure that energy goes somewhere is vitally important, so keep it with other high energy Pokemon, such as Amped form Toxtricity, or Vigiroth. But another option is other monkey Pokemon, such as Ambipom, Passimian, or Darmanitan.
Sometimes, you just gotta go with the monkey in ya, and Infernape is the monkey to be.
