Some pictures to show the beauty of this land: Euganei’s hills sited in Veneto, a region in the North of Italy. 

During my tour I had the pleasure to get know with the Vignalta Estate, located in village called Arquà di Petrarca.

I spent a pleasant time tasting rifened quality of wines, described so passionately by the winemaker Claudio.

Vignalta, a reality to explore. Claudio  is the bubbly owner at Vignalta and he will warmly welcome you whenever you fancy a visit  and he will  make you feel like home . He will tell you about the splendid terrains where the estate is located and he will even  take you for an enticing tour around...up to the HEART of the azienda, la barricaia: the barrel cellar. Last but not least 2 more great wines :  Gemola e Arquà. Gemola: merlot e cabernet franc....  elegant and classy. Arquà :merlot e cabernet sauvignon.... decisive, straightforward and genuine. Compared, these two buddies are two sides of the same coin .

 A  permanent feature that I have found in Claudio´s wines:  what you smell you taste! If you smell peach ,as I clearly explained before (!) , you will have the taste of peach in your mouth a minute after. The wines don´t betray you and are overall consistent! A feast is a gathering of old and new friends ...and a lot of fun. A feast is how I describe my meeting with the azienda Vignalta. A feast.
