"Hidden Buddha"
All the buildings were locked at Wat Pa Pao. This is what I saw looking through the window of the viharn. It was pretty dark in there, so pushing the iso helped reveal the dimly lit Buddha statue.

Vaulted Viharn by Matt Molloy Via Flickr: The viharn (assembly hall) at Wat Pa Pao was all barred and locked up, but the outside was interesting. Built in the late 1800's, it's "seen" a lot of weather and time, and like any building that isn't continuously cleaned and maintained, nature is slowly trying to take it back. I love a good patina! (I use the term more generally, implying a change to the look of an object though time and weathering, not just metals oxidizing, but that too) On the other hand, it's nice to see a building that's well maintained, keeping it looking like the day it was finished, but it'll never have the same charm as a fine patina.
