When the owners of the Vikasa Yoga Retreat decided to open another location in the heart of Bangkok, they realized they couldn’t simply transport the retreat’s rustic aesthetic to the heart of the metropolis - the original location sits on a hillside on the Thai island of Ko Samui overlooking the sea. The new facility would have to be both meditative and modern, but its peaceful interior also a reflection of the vivid pulse of the city outside. The owners turned to Enter Projects Asia (enter projects) to design Vikasa on 24 ( vikasabangkok), the new urban yoga space in a 5,000-square-foot space on the second floor of a concrete, steel, and glass building. The Enter Projects Asia team decided to treat the studio as a vessel to be explored using a series of sinuous rattan tubes that snake through the interior, occasionally ballooning overhead like clouds. 📷: Edmund summer #edmundsumner #vikasayoga #interiordesign #hospitalitydesign #yogastudiodeisn #sandow #gadarchitecture #gadfoundation #architecture #architect #InteriorDesign #InteriorArchitect #InteriorDesigner #facade #building #stone #architecturephotography #design #designer #archilovers #architectureprojects #amazingarchitecture #Contemporary #arquitectura #design #architecturaldetail #architectural #architect #architectureporn #architecturephoto #digitaldesign #computationaldesign https://www.instagram.com/p/CCljuLvpKz8/?igshid=6xda0o4gl81r
