When the owners of the Vikasa Yoga Retreat ⁣ decided to open another location in the heart of Bangkok, they realized they couldn’t simply transport the retreat’s rustic aesthetic to the heart of the metropolis - the original location sits on a hillside on the Thai island of Ko Samui overlooking the sea. The new facility would have to be both meditative and modern, but its peaceful interior also a reflection of the vivid pulse of the city outside. The owners turned to Enter Projects Asia (enter projects) to design Vikasa on 24 ( vikasabangkok), the new urban yoga space in a 5,000-square-foot space on the second floor of a concrete, steel, and glass building. Evolution of Core & Strength by Kosta Miachin

Memasuki hari ke-2 Namaste Festival 2014, hadir di podium 2 pada kelas akhir adalah Kosta Miachin.

Kosta membawakan tema Evolution of Core & Strength, sesuai dengan temanya maka pose yang dilakukan adalah pose yang menguatkan core dan membangun kekuatan.

Walaupun memberikan hasil yang nyata, tidak berarti harus melakukan pose-pose yang sulit, untuk menguatkan core dapat dimulai dari pose dasar seperti warrior 1, warrior 2, caturranga dan cobra, hampir seperti pose surya namaskar. Pose warrior membutuhkan kekuatan core dan kaki, demikian pula chatturanga dan cobra pose yang mengandalkan core muscles.

Kosta sendiri banyak memberikan contoh pose di antara waktu latihan dan memberikan penjelasan kepada peserta sehingga peserta lebih memahami maksud dari tema kali ini.

Kosta Miachin adalah pioner Vikasa Yoga, yang merepresentasikan the evolution of yoga, Costa mempunyai visi semakin tingginya kesadaran manusia dan membuat dunia menjadi tempat yang lebih baik dengan menyebarkan pesan cinta kasih dan kedamaian. Untuk mencapai visi ini, Kosta bersama Vikasa Yoga Retreat mewujudkan melalui fokus belajar yoga dengan kesehatan holistik yang bermakna, mengkonsumsi makanan organik, dan secara kondusif menginspirasi lingkungan untuk menjadi pribadi yang bertransformasi.
