I'm one of those people who like matcha in some food because I don’t really have a sweet tooth and for me the matcha balances the sweetness in the plate. I made a bubblegum green tea ice cream topped with oreo crumbles alongside strawberry gummy candies (or uhh, potchi lol). Although the green tea flavor was kind of overpowered by the bubblegum, I loved it!

I love mangoes. I don't know why. I ate too much meals with mangoes in Vikings. 😂😂😂

Contest Rules

1. This contest is open to all artist, professional, amateur and student, aged 18 to 25 years old. 2. Submitted design should follow the theme: Eat Like A Viking. 3. Contestant must complete official entry form and submit the entry design “A4 size” done in adobe illustrator or PSD format with editable layers and one (1) JPEG format, both in high resolution  not to exceed 10MB . 5. Criteria for Judging Relevance to the theme – 50%, Creativity – 10% Originality – 10% Online Facebook Likes – 30% Contest Duration: March 1 - March 16, 2015.

Terms and Conditions: - By entering, contestant understands and agrees that the winning design will become a exclusive property of Vikings Luxury Buffet which retains exclusive rights to the reproduction of the design. - Contestant must acknowledged that the submitted design is (a) original, (b) does not include any material that would require the consent of third party and (c) does not violate any copyright, publicity right, privacy right. Vikings Luxury Buffet has the right to edit and alter the entry design. - Submission including offensive and obscene images will be disqualified from competition. - All entry designs will be subject for screening, to those that comply with the given rules and guidelines (posted in our website and social media sites) will be entered to the competition. - Top 5 designs will be posted in our Facebook pages for voting to earn the 30% (Likes) of the criteria. - Winner will be notified by email and announced on our Facebook pages on March 17 Monday at 6PM.

My husband and I had an amazing omnomnom dinner buffet last March 13 at Vikings Luxury Buffet. The waiting line is usually long at the SM City North EDSA branch but surprisingly that day, we didn’t have to wait that long to be seated. Vikings is the Way to go!

  Sooo, what can I say about Vikings? It's basically a heaven of food. YES. Literally. Everything is just.... THERE. 

My mama getting ready to dig in! We are sooo excited. It's her second time here already.

  So for one, our starters, we had a maki galore. I swear, there is still so much more to get that's

not on this plate!

  I had salad first, which you could make your own. There were so many sidings to choose from!

There was corn, gelo, apples, bread crumbs, cheese, and around 5 dressings to choose from!

Then there was waldorf salad. Of course i had to get mushroom soup.

  Yes, it's drink all you can too! I chose four seasons!

There's iced tea, pineapple juice, strawberry lemonade, beer, water, coffee, 

name it, its there!

  Nachos, of course was my sister's ultimate choice, it's her favorite

  chicken feet and hakao galore was dake's personal choice!

  Steamed shrimps and Shells was my mom's favey.

  sooo much to eat!

  This was actually a really funny plate for me. hahaha.

It's so eclectic. See what I got. Pizza, which was really good!

Calmares, Chicken lollipop, Garlic bread, Sweet and sour pork, japanese rice.

  My second drink was strawberry lemonade, it was the best!

  You choose your steak and they grill it for you just the way you like it,

then they deliver it to your table. Galing noh!

  Then you choose your fish also, they grill it and deliver it to your table.

  some stick food, tofu and all kinds of balls to choose from!

  Of course, i had to have tea after all that food!

Now these photos are nothing compared to what vikings has, I just couldn't eat them all! 

But then again, i'll blog what i remember seeing there. 

There was BBQ's, Pork, liver and chicken. Plain rice, japanese rice, chinese yang chow rice, hainanese rice. Hainanese chicken, chicken teriyaki, chinese food galore like siopao, siomai, hakao, loads more.

Then there was some pasta's. Oh yes and the desserts! Crepe all you can, yogurt ice cream all you can with loads of toppings to choose from! and cakes oh my gosh the cakes! cheesecake, marble cake, parfait, everything's there! I swearm it's worth the try. If you go there weekdays by lunch, it's cheaper, we paid P722 per head. Make sure to make your reservations or else you wont be able to eat, cause there's quite a line all the time. So i hope you guys felt the hype of my Vikings experience, and I would love to do it all over again, though I wouldnt do it regularly cause i'll become a whale. Hahaha.
