- Hello King or not-so-King Finehair.   - King Olaf taking over a sick man’s Kingdom ... alright?  - Knew that Oleg was no prophet but a phony just like Ivar is no God. They are only human.  - Umm ... Bjorn, you better keep your dick in your pants.  - Hvitserk is going through it. Though I don’t like his “crazy,” storyline I do feel bad for him.  - Gunnhild, baby, I love you. I will protect you at all costs from Bjorn’s cheating ways. Please find out and kill that bitch and smack the shit out of Bjorn when he returns.   - Ubbe, I know your intentions are in the right place but you’re going to tell a badass shieldmaiden, in front of her mentor/mother, that she should stay. Okay, buddy.  - That’s right Torvi. Shut his idea down. Together forever or you don’t get anything.  - I knew Oleg was going to kill his brother and Ivar wouldn’t have a problem. Of course, because family means nothing anymore in this show. God, what I would give for Ragnar and Rollo’s relationship again.  - Lagertha still that bitch. Your fame will follow you everywhere no matter how hard you fight to escape it.  - Well, one of Torvi and Bjorn’s children are going to die. It’s the son.  - I SWEAR TO GOD BJORN. ONE SEASON WITHOUT YOU FUCKING SOMEONE WHO ISN’T YOUR COMPANION/WIFE!! ONE?! - Lagertha telling the story to her grandchildren reminded me of Gyda and baby Bjorn.  - Um, is Whitehair really going to kill an old lady? Wow. How “Viking” are you?  -  Lagertha, you should’ve buried your sword underneath your cabin and kept a floorboard lose or two.  - Oleg, torturing your brother.  Wow. So brave.  - Ubbe talking about the future of the Vikings. He reminds me so much of Ragnar but Hvitserk traveling on the trader's road? Knowing his condition. Here comes him and Ivar reuniting. So, this means he will be the one to kill Lagertha.  - Whitehair really attacking the village of women. Killing their sons and a fucking baby. Stealing their food. Killing an old lady? What is it with these fucking men who think they’re something? You ain’t shit.  - LET’S GO LAGERTHA. KILL THEM MOTHER FUCKERS. MAKING THEM SUFFER. Be the badass you still are. A shieldmaiden will always be apart of you. - Bjorn is regretting this decision. Honestly, as much as Finehair helped you, he’s a trickster. I would’ve just let him die but we all know Viking history and that it’s impossible to kill Finehair.  - Bjorn will suffer because of this. Men will die. Peace will be made then.  - Okay, this music when Lagertha is on screen doing something emotional is fucking me up.  - So Ivar feels indifferent about what Oleg did to his brother ... maybe he does have a heart.  - also, this kid is a fucking psycho. He hasn’t been with Oleg long and now he hates the guy who raised him? That was quick.  - SWIM UNDER THE FIRE YOU DUMBASSES. GOOD LORD.  - This battle was underwhelming.

VIKINGS - 6.01 + 6.02

OMG. It's so weird to think I've seen the last first episode of this series that I've loved so dearly and is now one of my favorites. *Bittersweet symphony starts playing*

I've seen that Gustaf's name is not on the cast list of the opening anymore, so... is Floki dead? I honestly don't know what to think, especially with that Flatnose dude who is sketchy af. I wanna know what happened to him, ugh.

Lagertha. Bitch doesn't even have a single wrinkle, that's kind of embarrassing to be honest.

That flashback in which she sees Ragnar and Gyda (wow, somebody in the writer's room remembered about her, thank god) really broke my heart. Yo, everytime I see Ragnar I get emotional, don't judge. It's been a long way and so many things happened and it's just strange to think this will be the last season.

I absolutely loved the scene of Lagertha burying her sword and making the vow that she will no longer be a shieldmaiden. It was really well executed, kudos to Katheryne!

Is Lagertha going to keep her promise, though? It seems like she's going to be in a very dangerous situation soon, so... IDK, was the scene I mentioned before totally useless? I'm kinda confused about Lagertha's character, because it almost seems like the writers have noticed that most of the fandom doesn't like her as much anymore and they're somehow trying to redeem her by not letting her get involved with Ragnarssons business anymore... I'm not sure, though, we'll see which direction her character's gonna take.

Björn. Okay, Alexander is fine as fuck. That buzzcut is just *chef kiss*.

That said, y'all know I love my big bear and I know he means well, but he needs to get it together asap. He's a king, for fuck's sake! I wouldn't be surprised if he asked me an opinion about the whole Harald (woah, he's alive... kinda) situation. I honestly though he was gonna be a way better ruler, but the premises aren't that great. I'm sorry boo boo.

Gunnhild. I like her. She reminds me of both season1!Lagertha and Aslaug. I'm looking forward to knowing of her character. Also, I love her demeanor.

Ubbe and Torvi. Bruh. I love those two and their relationship. I admit I was very skeptical when they first got together (I though 'oh another weird kinda creepy in-familia Viking relationship, yikes'), but now I truly appreciate them. They're honestly very cute.

I love Ubbe, he's so kind-hearted and just adorable, a true cinnamon roll, but I think that his kindness is soon gonna be his biggest weakness, causing him trouble. In this sense, he reminds me a lot of Alfred and speaking of him... where the Saxons at? Is their storyline over..? I feel like we're not gonna hear of them any time soon/ever. This kinda sucks because I wanted my fair dose of Ulfred content, but it is what it is.

Torvi is preggo! Y'all, this whole time I thought she had a child with Björn and a child with Ubbe already. I'm stupid LOL I really like her character, she's grown on me so damn much.

Hvitserk. I had a lot of hope for him this season, thinking he would finally show what he's capable of, but hell nah, they really did my man dirty. It's sad because I kinda don't even feel sorry for him... at this point his presence mostly annoys me. However, he said an important thing during his delirium: "Only Ivar matters", he's so right guys. Björn is focusing on the wrong problem -- again, he needs to act smarter.

I've got a question: was Hvitserk eating the same herbs Yidu used to give Ragnar at some point?

Last but not least, Ivar and Prince Olag. The montage of Ivar looking at those animals with curious, wide eyes was really beautiful to see -- I hope they don't abuse the slow motion, though.

Oleg Is intriguing. He's totally crazy and for the first time ever, I've seen Ivar being both fascinated and scared of someone -- that's new!

The scene of the two of them flying together (I don't know how to explain it better, sorry..?) was so cute and guys, you know me... of course I ship them already! Who in their right mind wouldn't?!

Jokes aside, I really like the fact that Oleg opened up to Ivar and told him about his (romantic) past, basically giving us the answer to why they immediately clicked so well. They're very similar and they have so much in common. "I think you and I are going to have a very special relationship. I truly think so..." c'mon, just get married already!

Oleg poisoned the wine and watched his brother drink it... didn't it give you war flashbacks to when Kwenthrith did the same thing while Ragnar and King Ecbert poured the wine on the floor. Oh, the good ol' days... I'm so nostalgic, oh my god.

That dance Oleg made... that's me dancing whenever I'm drunk af.

The little moment between Ivar and Igor (every time they mention him I think of my man Tyler, the Creator LMFAO) was so damn cute. Alex is super young and basically doesn't have any facial hair, so I always forget Ivar is supposed to be a grown adult with kids -- all that and all I wanna say is that Ivar would be such a caring and loveable father, he truly enjoyed spending time with little Igor* (bruh, does he speak at all? LOL)

It was good to see my Viking folks; I feel like the enthusiasm I lost during season 5 (especially 5b) finally came back to mama: now I genuinely want to know what's going to happen next and I'm excited for this season. I don't have any type of particular expectations (except, @ Björn: do better!), which I think it's good..?

We'll see.

just saw the newest first look of season six & LET ME JUST SAY how cute Ubbe & Torvi are.

They remind me so much of season one Lagertha and Ragnar. They respect, trust, and just love one another. It’s amazing to see Torvi’s character transformation from a young & pregnant bride/widow to badass warrior.

Ubbe respects strong females. He respects shieldmaidens, especially that of Torvi and Lagertha. I really love his relationship with Lagertha. Obviously, he wanted to seek revenge for the death of his mother because that’s what their people do BUT I think he’s over that and actually looks up to Lagertha and kind of sees her like a mom, cause let’s face it, Aslaug hardly was a mother to Ubbe & the rest of her kids when Ivar was born.

Now, I’m glad Torvi steps up and basically tells Ubbe that she’s going with him and she’s not going to be one of those women who wait around for her man to return or not. She’s a shield maiden and Ubbe’s rock. I can’t see them being separated. I think he would honestly hate that himself. But also, heart eyes at the fact she’s carrying his child. I want them to have so many children, okay?

I’m nervous about Lagertha’s story. Am I worried that she wants to retire to the farm life? No. Obviously, in her older age, she’s reflecting a lot on the past, like her relationship with Ragnar & their shared dream. Though, Lagertha is the most famous shieldmaiden, she’s a farmer above all. Very funny that Ragnar just wanted to return to a farmer at the end of his life. Their stories are so parallel.

Now, I know her death is coming. I have two theories about how she will die. By Hvitserk or by protecting her land and her people (old dude that Björn banishes) might be the one. Either way, I’m going to bawl like I did with Ragnar’s death. I’m also going to bawl at Bjorn’s reaction because he’s such a mummy’s boy and at Torvi’s reaction. She cares for Lagertha so much.

I wouldn’t want my power to be given up either but at the same time if they put their faith and loyalties in one person, they could come together and conquer different countries.  -- Gunhild came. She saw. She’s gonna conquer.  -- Lagertha ... you can’t kill the shieldmaiden in you but you can try.  --  Granny Lagertha is the best. Shieldmaiden Lagertha is even better. -- Hvitserk, baby what is you doing?! -- Torvi and Ubbe are both looking like a snack. Red is Torvi’s color. -- So the girl Alexander Ludwig is dating is playing this girl watching over Hvitserk? She didn’t even know him last season and then know she cares for him? Is her character relevant or just Alexander used his ties to get his girl an acting gig? I mean that’s a good boyfriend but like??  -- HOW THE FUCK DO Y’ALL NOT KNOW THERE WERE THAT MANY KINGS AND EARLS IN NORWAY?! was the only famous one, King Ragnar? Wouldn’t more Kings and Earls try and overrule Ragnar then? Or join his cause for overruling Paris or England? I’m confused. Someone help me here!  -- SO BJORN IS GOING TO BE HOOKING UP WITH Earl Hrolf? HIS CHARACTER IS ALMOST A FUCKING JOKE NOW but we all know the Viking history of Bjorn so maybe this earl will become his future wife and help him become King of Sweden?  -- Bjorn’s right though, why do we fight our own men when they can come together and fight their neighboring countries!  -- If he’s going to cheat on Gunnhild then why the fuck was him sleeping with the slave necessary? Unless Bjorn really believed that the slave-girl will bring him luck? I love Bjorn but geez Hirst.  -- So Ivar and Igor are going on a rescue mission. Love this little duo.  -- Them guards will be dead. BET.  -- They dead.  -- IVAR is speechless. He’s seen a ghost. Does Freydis have a twin?  -- Gunnhild, my girl, you know they’re coming back.  -- Flatnose is a SNAKE JUST LIKE KING FINEHAIR. SOMEONE BETTER CUT THEIR DAMN GRASS.  -- I knew Finehair will try and betray Bjorn and I knew Flatnose would help him. FUCK THEM TWO. I would love King Harald if he wasn’t always trying to betray people. Geez, like go out and try and conquer a country. Gather and army and do something else with your power.  -- Ivar ... Oleg might be playing games but how would he know what Freydis looked like? Maybe this is your karma and you deserve to suffer?  -- Hvitserk really does have an addiction. Giving his dealer his sacred arm ring. God, that just broke my heart. His father gave him that ring. He needs help.  -- The seer’s voice coming in at the times the characters need his guidance but he’s setting up Hvitserk’s storyline. MEANING NEXT EPISODE IS REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN AND I’M GOING TO THROW UP.  -- altered in fulfillment? oh god.  -- of course, Flatnose knows something. Don’t be so thick, King Olaf. Call him out.  -- Torvi, my love. God, you’re so gorgeous.  -- Torvi ain’t even surprised. She’s like girl, I’ve been there and he ain’t ever going to change his ways. He’s not going to be different with you. Close that dream.  -- Flatnose had a change a heart for a second? Hmm.  -- King Olaf is on another level.  -- King Harald always looking like a snack. How can Harald be a good king if he can’t even hold his own kingdom down? Granted, he was injured but like your people didn’t even try and fight for you?  -- Ubbe and Torvi ain’t got no time for bullshit news.  -- I love how Ubbe said “Ivar,” my god that man is the love of my life.  -- Ah shit .... maybe this news Hvitserk will wake him up and help him sober up.  -- What kind of demon is this? Ivar can be scary but I never thought he would be able to break down Hvitserk like this?! 

so Lagertha is going to go one on one with Whitehair and is going to be injured. My guess is that they have to retreat or they bring Lagertha back to Kattegat due to her injuries and Hvitserk will be the one to kill her? So Bjorn is going to win and Harald sends men to kill him. Flatnose doesn’t die ... due to the season trailer. So did he play double agent?
