Sometimes I do wonder why I agree to come with Jayce to these...events. Rather than working in the lab today I am drinking some cocktail and watching other people mingle for the sake of luring future investors and it couldn't be more of a hassle. Jayce is the face of HexTech - he is who they want to talk to. Meanwhile, I have no idea where Jayce even wandered off to and the only thing keeping me company is the spread of food and alcohol.
It all tastes nice, I suppose. There is that. And luckily most everyone is leaving me alone so I have time to just think and...blog here, I suppose.
...I do wish he was less busy. I understand he needs to be here, I do. He's good at this. He smiles and puts on his charm and everyone gives him exactly what he wants.

I am lucky to have him as my partner. I think I may skip the next outing like this, though. For now...I quite like the minty drink they have here.
