Damien may be a jerk to some people, but he’s actually pretty dang loyal to his friends. You’ll notice when he starts to think of you as a friend, as he’s generally a bit more chill around you and, well, won’t put you in bodily harm (as much). He doesn’t like people telling him who he can and can’t be friends with, either.

Overall, he actually really loves having friends? Because, honestly, who wants to do crimes all by themselves? He’ll do it, of course, but he has more fun partying with company.

fire agate: if my muse is brave or cowardly

brave, to a point of extreme recklessness at times. in short, kovacs basically has a little bit of a death wish; but he won’t kill himself, and he’d rather go out for a good reason than just get killed over nothing. he’ll basically do whatever he can to keep himself alive; but if he does, well, he really won’t be bothered at all.

so he’ll more or less happily jump into a life-or-death struggle, and he won’t back down in the slightest.

The woman who passed Brandish as she sipped her rose tea appeared to be a smart woman. One gulp of tea later and the mage was quickly, though trying to appear casual. 

“You, do you know how to work this thing?” Brandish called from behind the new woman, holding out her mobile phone, blissfully albeit it annoying unaware that the battery needed recharging.
