Some old sketches from last August with a variety of characters, plus a few scenes from the anime. The Swedish Pippi Longstocking author Astrid Lindgren's book Ronja Robber's Daughter is one of my all-time favourite stories! Such a cool medieval setting with folklore-like fantasy creatures; and much like the main character Ronja we also step into a vast, unknown world and get to see its wonders through her eyes! 😌 Besides the 1980s live action movie, there a recent Netflix live action show - but! Goro Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli were involved in an anime adaptation back in 2014, so two of my favourite things coming together; Ghibli and Lindgren 🙏
Also! Did some digging and found a really old screenshot redraw all the way from 2020!
Just some harpies/vildvittra sketches and studies based from Ilon Wikland's illustrations

An end of the year Vildvittra wishing everyone a happy new year and a very LET THE BLOOD FLOW

Spontaniously attended a game jam for the table top rpg Mörk Borg where you could create something for the game, so I created this monster for them, a Vildvittra (taken from Astrid Lindgren’s “Ronja Robbersdaughter”). I have never played the game ^^’ But should probably do that.
A quick collage and my Vildvittra again in honor of Per Åhlin. May his films traumatise and radicalize many generations to come.
