           The blanket of shadowy clouds had thinned.  However, amidst a myriad of dark gray tufts presented the gilded edges of a sun quickly riding towards early morning.  Luke flashed his hand and fortified doors parted with a shrill buzz.  The surplus weight of Coruscant’s humidity spilled itself into the lobby’s recycled air.  He stepped out onto the high terrace, arms raised above his waist as blue eyes peered up, gentler sprinkles cooling the heated skin on his face.            ❝You were right, Mother,❞  Luke said softly, gazing beyond the horizon, then turned his head around to smile a toothless smile.     ❝It’s raining.❞         // @vilibertatis

Rapunzel looked up at the other, lightly gulping as she held her arm with the hand that wasn't hurt. "How bad is it?" she asked, not wanting to look yet somehow trusting that this stranger wouldn't lie about the injury just to make her feel better.  She took a breath, and nodded her head at the other’s request, figuring that she wouldn’t have offered if she didn’t mean it.

           “You know, I never imagined a world quite like this,” she said, as much to herself as to the other woman. But after a moment, she shot a quick glance at her companion. “My own world is a DESERT. If you leave the city gates, you can go miles and miles without seeing another living soul...” 

           Gazing out the window, it was hard to believe that the entire PLANET was nothing but city. As far as the eye cold see. And a city more advanced than any she’d seen on Earth or her travels through the stargate. A slow smile crept across her face at the thought of being able to EXPLORE the city below. But she knew there was work to be done first. Visiting a new world and meeting a new people... There would be time to explore later.

           Sha’uri turned to the other woman. A senator. “It’s beautiful here -- but I’m not sure I could live with the noise of it all. How do you manage to get anything DONE?” she asked with a laugh.

By the time he’s finished up the final draft to his speech, it’s past midnight on Aridus, and Padmé has been quiet for longer than an hour.  Luke can’t remember the last time he’s stood and stretched.  Ergo he does so promptly, rising up from his chair with his arms thrown up behind him, a yawn pulling his mouth open so wide, moisture begins to prick at his dried eyes.  Luke stumbles about, rubbing tired eyes as he calls for his mother, receiving no answer.

❝Mother?  Mom—❞ and halts near the threshold of the den, not far from kicking himself when he shapes his mother in the twilight, slumped over the couch and a stuffed toy in hand. Because already, she's rising before he can stop her.  ❝I finished,❞  Luke holds his breath when he feels another yawn come on, too stubborn to let on that he’s beyond exhausted.  He crosses the room in short order, exhaling silently through this nose like his father had taught him.  ❝You can go back to sleep.❞

Spending time with Padmé was always something Anakin looked forward to even if it was just to escort towards safety in a not so very friendly neighborhood. They had just returned from a visit to Satine. It was more of a friendly meeting than an actual official visit. He turned his face around to watch at Padmé. She seemed to become more beautiful with every day that passed.

“I’ve been wanting to ask you something...”  

He stopped in the middle of his sentence when he saw something in the corner of his eye. “Get behind me Padmé.” He ordered while his hand reached for his lightsaber. A split second after igniting his saber a hoard of droids jumped out of the nearby buildings.

@vilibertatis - A beautiful Padmé, and such a lovely mun. One time I was casually lamenting that I wasn’t doing a very good job with finding a Force Ghost coloring that I liked and asked how she does hers because they’re beautiful, and instead of just a semi-helpful ‘fiddle with the colors until you like it’ ( which, is probably the real answer, honestly ) she was like ‘want me to make you some? I’ll make you some!’ and made me a ton of Force Ghost icons. Not just like five or six. Like a whole bunch. Completely unsolicited. Just because that’s the sort of nice thing she does for people. And I love seeing such a kind, friendly, warm person on my dash. Her Padmé, too, is just as wonderful. 

@stillsolo - Vin plays a wonderful Han ( and a wonderful Luke, but that’s beside the point since that’s not the url that was sent in but I had to mention it anyway ) and I always love seeing Vin’s take of Han on my dash. Vin has this lovely tendency to explore facets of Han that I don’t see explored as often by other Hans. And I mean that in the best possible way. Vin explores all sides of Han, not just the most fandom-approved sides, not just the most obvious on screen. And I love that. It makes Vin’s portrayal unique and distinctive – even if I miss the url and icon, for example, I can always tell Vin’s writing in the portrayal of Han which I think is so cool with such a popular canon. It’s a wonderful dedication to Han’s character, and I love it so much.

Are there any other fandoms you’d like to approach?  Munday Meme | ACCEPTING

Yes! … and no.  However, there are good reasons behind my indecision! The fandom that I’m interested in doesn’t seem very big on RP—or writing in general.  Moreover, were I to write in the fandom, it would pretty much force me to create an OC.  Unfortunately, I don’t have the creativity for that.  I study characters and I learn to write them.  It’s what I’m used to.  Creating one?  lsdjfsdf  no, thanks.  I would be too worried that my writing would come out as a copy of Han or Luke or whoever I’m relating them to.  Therefore, I’m sort of…shoving Han into their verse instead.  …….IT’S WORKING, THO.  That way, I still get to my favorite character and get to partake in the fandom’s verse!  @vilibertatis
