Needless to say, this was another my favorite scene. Vincent pushing JT's swivel chair out of the way, followed by a crash off camera, had me ROFLMAO

Season 2: About Last Night
TESS: So, there was kissing?
CATHERINE: Yes, there was kissing.
TESS: Eye contact.
CATHERINE: Yes.
TESS: Okay, well, I hate to break it to you, but it doesn't sound like break-up s*x to me.
JT: Break-up s*x is sloppy and short and generally not great. I mean, uh, that's what I heard. Or read. Online. Point is, you need to talk to Cat, you know? Find out what it meant to her.
VINCENT: She walked out, man. She made it pretty clear what it meant to her. Besides, she's with Gabe.
JT: She's not wearing a ring.
Tess decides that it was NOT break-up sex because there was “kissing” involved. JT is better informed on the subject 😀(thanks to Google and/or personal experience), so he concludes it was NOT breakup sex because break up sex tends to be “sloppy, short and generally not great”. I loved JT's simple, too-true assessment that break-up sex is the opposite of what Vincent and Catherine had.
Season 2: About Last Night
CATHERINE: I'm not changing my mind.
JT: She obviously hasn't made up her mind yet. Besides, you have every right to tell her how you feel. That it meant something to you.
VINCENT: You're right.
JT: So, what are you waiting for? Go talk to her.
CATHERINE: I don't want to talk to Vincent. I don't even know what I would say to him. As usual, JT gives Vincent some good advice. The guy has the best advice and general wisdom bombs about life ever. He tells him to talk to Cat and figure it out. She may be with Gabe, but he didn’t put a ring on it and Cat didn’t even take his key, so......
Season 2: About Last Night
JT: What do you mean she just left? She didn't even leave you a note?
VINCENT: No. I woke up and she was gone.
JT: Well, did you piss her off or something? What? Fair question. Why else would she leave?
VINCENT: No, man, I didn't piss her off. And no, I don't know why she left. Okay? I th... I thought last night meant something special between us, but apparently Catherine doesn't agree.
JT: What are you looking for?
VINCENT: Ideally answers.
JT: No, I meant under the counter.
VINCENT: Oh, breakfast.
JT: Granola bar, bottom shelf.

Season 2: About Last Night
VINCENT: Somehow I got to show Catherine that getting back with me is not going backwards for her.
JT: What does that even mean?
VINCENT: It means I got to prove to her I'm not the same jackass that took the law into my own hands with her father.
Season 2: Cat and Mouse
Once motivated by Tess' news that Cat had gone missing, JT locates Vincent (who was rocking the baseball cap and popped collar look) using their prearranged rendezvous location at a diner. In the background you can hear the country music of "Cabin on the Hills" by JODY BRIAN QUARTET
VINCENT: I was hoping you would show
JT: I was hoping you remembered. You didn't say good-bye
VINCENT: I thought you didn't like good-byes.
JT:I don't, but still... after everything we've been through?
VINCENT: I know, man, I'm sorry. I just... I don't know, it happened so fast. You know?
JT: Anyway... glad you're still here.
VINCENT:Yeah. The thing is, though, I, uh... I don't want to run anymore. I don't know what I was thinking, man. I can't just leave Catherine behind like that .
JT: See? That's what I thought; that's what I just told Tess.
VINCENT:Tess what?
Season 2: About Last Night
Vincent can’t track Sam because he is using “scent killers or something”??? JT has partially decrypted Sam’s files and he was unable to find names but got a list of addresses all over the country, two in Manhattan. The closest one is JUDGE WESTBROOK’S office so Vincent hurries there.
I like JT & Tess’s supporting roles. They really know how to keep Vincent and Catherine sane during their break up! I know that Tess was pushing Catherine towards Gabe (and JT was Tori/Vincent shipper), but I think Tess just wanted her best friend to be happy, and truly believed that Gabe could be that guy. (OBVIOUSLY SHE WAS WRONG!) No matter what has happened in the past, but the fact that Catherine needed to talk to Tess about ‘what happened,’ proves she trusts Tess enough to take her advice. She’s conflicted because she doesn’t know how to categorize her night with Vincent let alone understand it and she needs ‘someone’ to tell her that "her heart WANTS what it wants" (Vincent!) The parallel scene between JT and Vincent and Cat and Tess was fantastic.
